Protect your electronic equipment from damaging voltage and current spikes with this Monoprice surge protector. This model includes twelve protected power outlets, 4 of which are positioned for AC power adapters, and a 2-port 2.1A USB charger. The clear plastic tabs on the sides of the unit illuminate green to indicate when the surge protector is providing protection to your equipment and when a proper ground is detected. When the protection circuitry has been fully consumed by power and current spikes, the protection light will no longer illuminate, indicating that the surge protector should be replaced. When the grounded tab is not illuminated it indicates that there is a problem with the house wiring and that the ground is not properly connected to the power outlet. The surge protector has 4 keyholes on the back, allowing it to be secured to a wall or other surface.

Excellent product, solid build and sleek profile. Able to replace 2 bulkier power strips in my family room HT setup and clean up the installation, 4 wall wart sockets and 2 USB ports did the trick. I have no problem with the lights around the outside - protector is mounted to the wall behind a double wide equipment cabinet so they can only be seen when looking from the end, not noticeable from normal seating position even when lights are out.

Perfect for working from home

Really useful. Works great. USB outlets are handy - and I don't get any noise from the USB ports when using with audio devices which I have gotten with other USB chargers.

Really great! (yes, the lights on it are a bit much)

Looks and performs as described. Feels substantial and has plenty of room for all of my adapters, charging cables, and standard plugs. Even has room for a smart plug on each side.

Power strip

Great features, including room for 4 transformers. Others have complained about the bright green lights, which I can understand if the intent is to use it in a  bedroom, but it works great in my basement/music room, and I kinda like the lights.

Very versatile

This is perfect for my use. I've mounted it on the wall behind my desk and I have more outlets than I'll probably ever need. Much cleaner setup for my A/C cables.

Great power strip

This surge protector seems fine aside from ONE detail.  It has a very bright green light on the side which is totally unnecessary.  I have it behind a cabinet and it shines an eery green glow up the wall.  I don't need a nightlight.  A tiny dot of light would have been sufficient.  However, I really like that I can plug in lots of things, especially large plugs that would otherwise block available plugs on either side.

it definitely gives me the number of outlets needed but I was unaware that it would light up like a Christmas tree. Now the backside of my entertainment center has more lighting than the front (where the controls are).

A bright surprise

The only detail I do not like are the bright green indicator lights. They cannot be switched off or dimmed. This surge protector replaced one that was 20 years old. The 2 USB ports simplify charging my electronics.

Seems to work as stated. Except there is no mention of the LED lights on product packaging or on website. The issue I have is when turned on, the led lights are quite bright at night and illuminate an entire room with no way to turn off without shutting off the entire unit. I would have picked a different product if I had known about the LED lights.
