I've yet to find a speaker which offers more quality for the money out there.  I've spend hundreds more on competing models without getting an ounce more in sound quality from them.  I've probably installed a hundred pairs over the years in both my home and the home's of my customers and they all enjoy the speakers that they have.  Highly recommended for anyone looking for a solid in-wall speaker with a bit more low end extension and solid performance throughout the audio spectrum.

My first experience installing in wall speakers and I couldn?t be happier. The only thing I would change is maybe going for the carbon fiber ones that have a magnetic front. Pulling the mesh off the front with the little hook tool was nerve wracking but probably hard to mess up and not a huge negative as I won?t be doing it on a regular basis.

Great First Experience

Great sounding speakers.  High end quality w/o the high end price tag.  Especially sweet deal when caught during a 30% off sale, and with free shipping >;-)

Also, I should note.. owners manual specs says these are actually KEVLAR fiber cones on woofer and midrange.  Big ?

I made a mistake buying the Pyle 8" in walls.  What complete garbage. 
These sound not nice but extremely nice.  Far better than I expected. 
I used to work for Sony and I know that floor standing speakers will always be most people's1st choice.  But I have young boys this seemed like a great option. 
I'm using these as front RL in my home theatre. Running them off a pioneer VSX-LX102 elite. 80 watt a channel 
After hearing them.  I might have to change my backs aswell.
I have nothing negative to say about them. 
Construction is very good they feel like quality. 
Just don't over tighten the screws no need to.  Snug is enough.

I ha e these speakers and the Alpha version, 8 inch 3 way wall speakers. I like both. Although these are a bargain at $99, the Alphas are definitely better. I have the Calibers in my garage, and they do a nice job. I have the ribbon tweeter Alphas in my living room. Wow! If you are looking for a high quality, exceed your expectations wall speaker for background music, you'll love the Calibers. If, however, you are looking for very nice, amazing really, sound for your main system, get the Alpha series or amber series with the ribbon tweeters.

Very nice for the money

It's a high quality speaker and installed easily. However, the driver advertised as 8” is actually about 6 ½”, The sound quality is good, but midrange is not as full as expected. I'm trying to tweak that with the treble attenuation switch and my receiver's controls.

Nice Speaker, but Driver is Smaller than Advertised

For what you get, you know MP is gonna be good quality and value. Was looking at some top brand ones on sale "marked down" from $350...but I couldn't tell if it was all a gimmick. So after much shopping I went with this low risk option. These went in well...couple hiccups but I figured it out. Still breaking them in, but the sound is nice. Tied it in to my control 4 whole house audio system to wire I ran when I did my basement. Sound doesn't carry up through the walls as I had feared.

Good speakers

The speakers are doing just fine. They are installed in the wall flanking my 75" wall mounted tv in a room 21 ft. X 24 ft. and they do very well.  I will never use them to pump out high audio levels, but occasionally moderate levels at best.  I use them as stereo tv speakers and are also connected to whole house audio.  So far, they seem to do as well as the Yamaha speakers I used before being the same size and twice the price.  I would have given them a 5 star rating except that I had to compensate for the speakers unable to tighten securely to 1/2" drywall.  As you tighten the mounting screws, they get close... but never get tight and remain loose.  I worked around the problem, but shouldn't have to.
A word of advice... don't put the grills on until you are completely through installing them.  They are very tight and won't fall out, but they are also hard to remove when you need to, even with the little removal tool included.

Pleased with these for the price and would recommend!

These speakers sound great for home theater, and sound pretty good with music too. They are a great value. Also, the bass is better than expected, but I would still use a subwoofer in a home theater setup so you can do justice to the low frequency effects. They are not what I would call 'audiophile' speakers, but I have never heard in-wall speakers that I would call 'audiophile', even from highly respected 'audiophile' brands. I paid over twice as much for Paradigm in-ceiling speakers in my previous home theater setup and they sounded OK for home theater but for anything more than background music they did not sound that great.
