This seems to me to be very good quality wire.  It's flexible and me and my daughter installed 8 exterior speakers around our house with it.  I would recommend it to a friend and I would buy it again if I needed more.  Shipping was speedy.  Thanks for a great product and service.

I ran this wire through the walls to my surround sound and it worked great, never tangled on the spool which I've seen on cheap wire and the jacket is tough enough to pull with nylon string and not damage the copper. Definelty recommend for a budget friendly 14 gauge wire.

Heavy gauge means I don't worry about losses over long runs, stranded means it's easy to pull. Tough cover helps ensure against minor dings and scrapes during installation. All in all, a nice quality cable for all your 4-conductor speaker and other low-voltage needs.

Been planning to change my old 12awg wire and I had a chance and monoprice cl2 was recommended. My tune amp sounds so nice. The bass roll-off is continuous and has a lot of brilliancy and presence. Thank you so much for being there. I tild all my friends to buy this.

There is a difference in the sound.. Much fuller and brighther!

I purchased this Monoprice #12 speaker cable to upgrade from the same Monoprice #14 when I relocated my speakers that changed cable length. By using bigger cable to #12, it seems sound got tiny bit louder at same volume setting though quality of the sound stay the same. Just matter of better conductibility? It was significant improvement you can clearly hear from Home Dept cable to this Monoprice cable.I am actually very happy with both of the product.

Product was shipped and arrived as expected. Product is quality CL2 rated wire. Perfect for use when running in or through walls.
Very happy with product. My wire runs (lengths) are about 50 feet. Wire quality is high, so sound quality to the speakers is as clear as if they were five feet from the stereo on professional quality wires. Used with 60-Watt 8ohm speakers.

This is the REAL DEAL no frills 99.% oxygen free pure copper wire.  Copper and jacket are what you expect in top quality wire for superior sound quality.  I love the fact you can get such quality without breaking the bank from a reputable company such as Monoprice.   IT IS GUARANTEED.  BTW - pick you up the Monolift Amp 200wpc!!!  WOW!

Audiophile Grade!

It sounds pretty good, no congestion in sound and music, more neutral than the old audioquest cables it replaced. It's not easy to cut the white jacket without damaging the inside cables, I had to use a little utility knife to control the cut instead of the wire stripper.
I highly recommend it, I bought 500 ft.

Highly recommended

I bought a 250 foot spool and one end of the spool was loose when I opened the box.  I tried to reattach and use like normal, but the end immediately fell off when I tried to pull wire.

It made this job VERY frustrating, and I could not get the wire to come cleanly off the spool.  I had to fight all 250 feet off of that spool - untangling and untwisting the whole way.

Wire is fine, but spool fell apart

The wire is WAY too stiff and causes issues.   

How stiff is it, you ask???? 

It's so stiff?.  The wire slowly putts itself out of the back of the Monolith Amp I purchased from Monoprice.  I have banana plugs with the wires but I have had to pull the amp out 3 times this month because the wires have dislodged from the Amp.  

I wish I could get a refund and get different wires to replace these so I don't have to keep doing this?.  VERY FRUSTRATING!
