Not the most qualified because I?ve never run Ethernet before, but I?ve had no issues with it.

Solid copper, much better than CCA (copper classes aluminum) or stranded cable for in wall runs. Cat6 is great for residential (can even get 10Gbps on most runs).  CMR rated and UL certified is ideal for indoor residential runs. At $85 for a 1000? I can?t recommend it enough, TrueCable is $170 for the same specs and length off Amazon.

There was a voluntary recall on some Monoprice Cat6 cable in 2019/2020, but from my research it only affects commercial buildings. It also seems they did well remedying the recall. Further I would imagine they really really tested this stuff throughly as it succeeds a recall. Definitely imagine they want to avoid that again.

Solid wire for residential runs. Don?t cheap out with Amazon stuff that?s more expensive and worse

Monoprice

I have used both this and the Plenum equivalent Monoprice sells. Between the two I have run well over 100k feet of it. Never had any problems. Cable always tests out. Rarely a box pull issue. Can't beat the price. Unless Monoprice changes the wire on me I will never use anything else!

Great wire

This was my first cat 6 cable I have ever bought. It was for my new home which I plan on adding additional lines for PoE devices and extra ports on the wall. 

Overall, the build and quality are great and what I expected. Shipping was timely and the discounted price was the major factor to why I bought these.

Good stuff!

Great cable to use. I have purchased a bunch of these throughout the years for various installs. They are a little bit larger than other brands and do tangle a bit. However, that will happen with any cable. I have pinched a few runs but it didn't damage the cable.

Great length of cable

Pulls good.   Just a few minor complaints.1- no foot markings on cables.  Has other specs but no up/down markers.2- pull-box plastic nozzle is CHEAP.   Little dumb ring twists off/breaks and nozzle falls into box.   Very annoying.  Otherwise has ripcord, full plastic X-spline, solid pure copper (non-CCA).   Real heavy wire so I know I'm getting good quality.   Had no termination issues.

Good cable good price

This cable seems to work just fine, and is a good fit for my home security camera wiring project.  I'm most likely never going to run 10Gbit over it.  I did notice that it is pretty brittle in freezing temps, just score the outside and breaks right off when it is cold, which was actually handy.

But I did noticed that the brown pairs seemed to have half the number of twists as the other pairs, which seems strange.   Maybe the manufacture ran out of the correct wire and subbed in a lower spec or something.  I didn't notice this until I had ran my 8 runs, so I'm not going to do anything about it.  But you may want to check out the internals when you first get the cable in case that matters to your application.

Non-uniform twists in pairs?

Solid cable that was easy to pull from the box. It's at least as much as it takes to keep with my Cable internet modem. the colors could be more vibrant/distinct. In low light the orange looks a lot like brown and sometimes even the blue looks like green.

Quality Cable

Easy to work with. Sheathing allowed me to pull through various holes in framing easily.  Connections were easy, and solid.  Great throughput on my network.

Lost one star because the cabling was wrapped in a way that kinked the cable in the box every-so-many-feet.  I had to go forcefully pull the cable to get more length until the next kink.   I wasn't going long distances so going back to the box wasn't difficult, however it was troublesome since I was pulling the cables by myself.   

A minor con in the overall experience and it appears to be a big improvement over previous comments about how cable was packaged and delivered in the past.

Good cable for household wiring.

I am a little baffled by all of the raving reviews.  I bought 4 of these, and 2 of them the interior blue plastic ring broke.  This is through normal use.  So once it breaks, you have to remove it because it has sharp edges and will cut the cable.  Then you get nothing but kinks as you try to pull.  I've had multiple runs ruined because of a kink getting it out of the box.  Unsatisifed.

Decent cable, box terrible

Bought 2 boxes, one pulled flawlessly, the other box did not pull a single foot out of the box. I have not attempted to open the box yet to see if it is just a knot or if it is internally all messed up, but wire is no good if it doesnt pull out of the box smoothly.
