Big fan of Monoprice cables - they're affordable and no-frills, but rock solid reliable and come in a great variety of lengths (and colors!).  I can't see any reason to order cables from another brand.

Monoprice is my go to cable

Monoprice

After buying a defective pair of cat 6 cables from Amazon I came back to monoprice because I knew I could trust their cables to work.  I had so many options for length and color of cables it allowed for a very clean install.  I am happy to say that all my ethernet connected devices are running great with the mono price cables.  

Fed ex delivery was slow as is typical for Fed ex ground.  Monoprice shipping is a little pricey.  I paid almost as much for shipping as for the cables.    

Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the cables and after getting burned from cheap rip off cables elsewhere, I will purchase from monoprice again because I trust their products.

Great cables and so many options.  Shipping is a minor drawback.

These are quality cables at a great price. I purchased two for PoE caamera use. While the cable itself is thick and durable - It still has plenty of bend to it. Unlike some i've seen around that are durable but very stiff. 

On an unrelated note - If you're considering buying a more inexpensive ethernet cable that is FLAT....maybe reconsider. I would GLADLY pay a higher premium JUST to avoid the unexpected frustrations i've encountered when working with FLAT ethernet cable projects. 

Some may not enjoy the design of the connections themselves. If you're looking for that "FIRM / SATISFYING CLICK" and prefer the "THIS LOCK CLIP AND HOUSING IS SO STRONG I MAY BREAK A THUMBNAIL DISCONNECTING IT" sort of feel....if you like those things you WON'T like these. 

These are soft and manageable. Kid fingers could disconnect them with ease. (Obviously not a good attribute if that's a worry of yours) Don't have kids? Got a pair of sore, old man hands? Want a cable that seems durable, looks nice and has decent connections points that won't break a nail? Then give these a try.

I'm happy with my purchase!

I used this to relocate a wifi router from the far end of our house where the modem is to the middle of our house for better coverage and so the cats wouldn't knock it off constantly. Also to run ethernet to my gaming computer. It has worked great. I sometimes see people online bashing Monoprice CAT6 cables for being real stiff and low quality, but this cable was fairly flexible and has served its purpose well. I don't plan on moving this cable at all, so maybe if you plan on moving the cable constantly you would prefer a super flexible cable instead, but this cable has been great for my use. Also, I think if you wanted the best protection for the plastic latch on the connector, you might be better getting a cable here with a traditional full rubber boot. I just find the flex boot connector to be easier to unlatch and work with.

Great price and quality cable

I purchased these cables{2} to extend my cable to the far end of my auto shop to a second WIFI. A friend of mine has been a Monoprice customer for some time and he recommended I check them out. I was surprised by the variety of products and  the price was very attractive. I placed my order, received a confirmation Email and my parts came in a reasonable time frame. The cables look exactly like the ad, are well made and excellent quality. I can recommend these cables and Monoprice based on my good experience.

Quality cable at an excellent price.

This isn't my first time buying these and it won't be my last. Monoprice is my go to for large cable orders because the cables are good quality, the prices are decent, they have a huge selection of cable types, lengths, and colors, and the shipping is fast and free if your order is over a certain amount.

Quality booted patch cables

Great to be able to order this cable in the 1-ft length and white finish - makes for a very clean hardware installation. The connectors are solid and reliable; I can regularly get gigabit performance over these cables. The pricing is excellent - I could not build a cable like this for the same amount.

High-quality cable with nice, custom color/length options

I googled best ethernet cables and Monoprice was one of the top ones. I was able to pick any length and color. These were both short 1 footers that I needed to connect an ethernet switch to two devices very close to each other. They plugged in fine and probably won't be touched or moved again, so I can't vouch for the snagless feature. They were easy to handle and depress the locking clip.

Great cable and at a low price

The cables are nicely made, but the jackets of the cables are so stiff that the connector end cannot be turned 180 degrees to plug between a switch and patch panel 1U apart.  The connector boots put a noticeable constant torque on the plugged connections.  The advantages of a patch cable with stranded wire is negated by the stiff jacket.

Also, it took 10 days to get these cables by FedEX (not so) SmartPost which is unreasonably long compared to the competition's shipping abilities, and it was not even free!

Too Stiff and Too Late

Locking clip on one side of the cable fell off after being plugged just for the second time. Flimsy! I have lots of cables at home and I use and re-use them all the time, and they tend to serve for years,  but for whatever reason the locking clip on this one broke off shortly after the cable was received.

Works fine as a standalone cable, but upon repairing one end it seems the green wire is a larger gauge than the rest and doesn't fit into a new plug without stripping off the plastic sheathe (not ideal). See picture for brown vs green wire in this cable.

This hasn't been a problem with previous cables ordered from this site, so unsure if it's a new spec/design or just poor QC on this batch of cables.
