This is now my keystone of choice!  It is very different from the keystone I was using previously, so the first one was a bit of a hassle until I realized I was just being stupid in my approach to attaching the wires. :)  The rest were wired easily and, if done properly, the CAT cable is quite secure.  Nice design!

See pictures. I am not a networking professional, just have a few at home DIY projects (run for POE AP, POE cameras, connect switches to router on other side of house, etc.)

Haven't hooked up yet, reviewing to share the pics.

I tried the metal ones and they were significantly worse than these and had to be replaced after a few months.

Better than the metal keystones

Worked perfect for what I needed at a fraction of the price of other stores. Easy to install on cat 6a wire and insert into the keystone plate.

They worked great. Easy to use and fit fine in a 4 keystone plate.

I bought two of these, one went into the face plate very easily and the other one I had to press in with my full body weight using a screwdriver.

I was very satisfied with the installation otherwise and the connection is good!

Quality Control

I installed eight of these yesterday. Of those eight, one was missing the retaining clip from the packaging, and one lacked continuity on pin #5. A 25% failure rate is pretty bad for any product, so make sure you order surplus to account for spoilage—and if you have the means, maybe make a testing rig to test them before installation.

Easy to use, but has quality control issues

3 years after wiring my entire house with these keystones, multiple connections were reduced to 100mbps, down from the 1gbps.  This was after minimal plugging and unplugging of cables, probably < 10 times total, some maybe only once.  A few wasted hours later, I tracked the problem down to these broken keystones.  The plastic plate that supports the metal contact cracked allowing the contacts to bend and therefore make poor contact.  Unfortunately I didn't figure this out until after replacing a few.  Stupid me thought it would be a good idea to order the exact same ones as replacements, albeit off of Amazon, but with the same part number.  It looks like the internal design may have changed a little, but I'm going to avoid these going forward.   These are just not worth the wasted time.

Multiple failed after 3 years

These keystones are great in concept, but the execution is awful. I purchased four of these. Only one out of the four actually worked. The rest of the bunch had one or more bad connections internally. I'll stick to regular keystones from now on.
