Bought this cable to connect a projector for outdoor movie viewing during Covid-19. At first it looked like the cable was defective. But turned out it was user error and the cable is directional. So you need to pay attention to the  source/display tags clearly in place on the cable. 
Have enjoyed with friends a couple of movies on the lawn with beautiful 1080p performance.

These cables totally fixed an issue I was having with inferior non active HDMI cables over a long run to my projector!!! Everything is great now!

Awesome for long runs.

I use this for connecting 4k projector from receiver (50 ft) I get great pictures - no loss. Love it.

Excellent performance

Nicely built sturdy cable but was DOA and had to replace.

Sturdy

Everything about this cable, except the frequent static glitches and screen blackouts, screams "premium hardware." It looks great, it feels good in your hands, the connectors are classy and robust. But right out of the package it didn't work right, where cheaper, lower-spec cables worked flawlessly between my Xbox One X and my 4K TV.

I really wanted to like this one. :(

After running this wire through several holes cut in walls and patching and painting. The cable worked fine.  Shortly thereafter (days) the cable stopped   working.  I now am faced with a dilemma: cut open and replace the cable or find an alternate way.

Cable died almost immediately.  Think twice about using in a difficult install

1st one would loose signal after slightly bumping the cable, basically in the first week after I bought it.

2nd one worked for about a month, now shows artifacts when displaying HDR content

Smaller HDMI cables worked fine, just this one not working

Got 2, both had issues - 50ft cable

We purchased 5 of these cables recently. They seem to have a high failure rate so a laptop won't detect any external display. The ends don't seem to seat very well in our switcher either. We have some other Monoprice cables in 60' length and those work perfectly. Won't be buying these again.

HIgh failure rate

The first cable arrived and it was plugged to HDMI2.0 on optoma projector. At random was losing signal and the projector was re-syncing. I replaced the cable, thinking that it could be defect and same happened with exact same model and length replacement from monoprice. I decided to check different brand cable and purchased same length DTECH optic fiber cable and oh my, what a relieve, no more crazy re-syncing at random and no more horizontal lines on screen when watching in 3D. Don't waste your time and money with those cables. I'll never  buy anything from Monoprice again

Constantly losing signal on 4k

Didn't work for me. Pulled it through smurf tubing and plugged it in. Nothing.
