Exactly what I hoped to see. The outer jacket breaks just fine with my automatic strippers. The "16ga" slot on my conventional pliers is actually a little tight; I used the 14ga slot to avoid breaking copper conductors. Automatics work fine for them, too.

Honestly, I think the quality is fine but it?s frustrating there was not an option to buy white wire. It didn?t really specify black that we saw and bc it was black out job became huge because we then needed to add conduit to hide the blck wire then paint the conduit. 

Just sell white wire.

Why not give us a white wire option?

We order nimbus cables because they have the highest strand count for a plenum speaker wire. Unfortunately, the packaging is horrible. The weight of the wire softens the box structure making it impossible to pull cleanly out of the box. We have had to throw out a 500 ft box because the box fell apart and the cable got tangled upon itself. It would have taken hours to untangle making it more cost effective to throw out. I will not be ordering again Monoprice improves the packaging or supplied the wires on solid spools.

Good wire. Horrible packaging.
