Great value on speaker stands

Stands look great, easy to install, solid construction.  Like all metal products, manufacturers package products with oil on them.  Wear some gloves and wipe down the excess oil before touching anything else during your install.  If you're using the LG SPK8-S satellite speakers rear mount hole to hang them on the stand, the provided screws won't work.  The M4 (key hole screw) is too long.  Go to Home Depot and pick up a shorter 3 pack of M4 x 12 (4mm x 12mm).  Don't worry about getting black screws because the plastic mount cover will hide them.  Enjoy

Good for the price

I searched everywhere for adjustable stands for my Minimus 7s and kept seeing these as the only option. Of course Monoprice had the best price with delivery. These stands do get the job done just know these are meant to be set up and left alone. The speaker mount is all plastic instead of metal, and the stand metal is thin. 
Wire can be hidden inside stand, just thread from the top. The kit includes hardware for keyhole and thread speakers mounts. Instructions are clear and assembly is easy.

Could be better, but

Not very sturdy.  The stands themselves are metal but the part that connects to the speakers is flimsy plastic.

Just ok

Plastic bracket holding speaker is very light duty. I dont expect these to last long

Light duty at best

As I was tightening the (i) screw to secure the bracket to the pole, the screw head broke off, leaving the rest of the screw inside. Now the bracket cannot be removed or adjusted. The twist lock that is supposed to hold the sliding tube in the extended position is made of flimsy plastic that will break if you tighten it. The curved shape of the pole doesn't allow mounting speakers with keyholes located at the top of the speaker. The metal feet have sharp edges, unfit for hardwood floors. The entire assembly is shaky and unstable. Overall, not a quality product.
