I've never had a problem with any Apple lightning cable, either name brand or third party cable. This one so far is no different. It charges and syncs stuff on the computer. Pretty boring. The bright green makes it distinctive from my other cables.

I don't like that it's more expensive than other Monoprice cables, but it's much cheaper than the official Apple brand, and still cheaper than third party cables sold in stores.

Works fine so far

Monoprice

These are good cables for the price. The only thing that I don't like is that the seal wrap on the lightning end of the cable splits in two and if not super careful the connecting wires have no support. Soon the cable becomes useless. Tape does not help. Am going to add shrink wrap to see if this cures the problem.

Generally good cable. Treat gingerly.

Have been using these cables for several years now. They do the job & I like the colors especially the pink. Keeps my husband from running off with them. These don't last a long time whether due to user error or innate construction. Luckily the price is reasonable.

Nice but not long lasting

I use these cables often and I keep buying more, though I dont know why. The best part of the lifetime warranty as I find myself replacing them about once a year, sometimes sooner. The cables always wear out at the connectors. The wires start showing and the connection becomes position dependent. I just learned that they are not compatible with my new Nissans Apple Car Play. They say you have to use an original apple cable. But I thought these Apple MFi cables would be good enough. Apparently not. But they work for everything else.

Good for the price, not car play compatible

The cable seems to work well. I did have a problem last week with it though. I use the cable to connect my iPhone to a USB jack so that my new car can use Apple Play. I had a lot of issues several days ago where the car did not recognize a device as being connected to Apple Play. I used one of my Apple cables and it worked well. The next day I went back and used your cable and it was OK. A fluke? I am not sure.

Cable for Apple Car Play

I purchased this cable on May 14, 2019 from the Monoprice store. The strain relief tube very quickly opened as if on a seam. Shortly thereafter the cable stopped working. Monoprice provided their usual good customer service and replaced it. Unfortunately the second cable came apart the same way. Monoprice will only replace the cable once. So, I'm left with no cable. I have bought many products from Monoprice and like their price/quality ratio and warranty. Some of their products are outstanding. But, I want a lifetime warranty that reflects high quality to the extent that a replacement won't be needed. I guess I'll buy my cables elsewhere from now on.

Can't give one star

Perhaps it is that the 10ft length is problematic- but I have had several issues with this cable and it seems the lifetime warranty no longer applies as I get a not eligible when I try to click on replace. You advertise lifetime warranty - seems that it is not the case

Cable sheath peels away exposing wires

I ordered 3 of these to use throughout the house (by the bed, in the car, charging station in the kitchen), and all three of them have come apart in less than 6 months. The failure is occurring at the lightning connector end with the cable separating and exposing the individual wires.

I've purchased many Monoprice products in the past and expected these to live up to the same high quality as those. Unfortunately, they did not.

Multiple cables failed within 6 months

I have purchased dozens of these, and all of them fail in the same way. The lightning end of the cable separates from the insulation, leaving the braided wire to fray along with the wires inside. Over time, wires start to short out. In one case the cable started a small fire in my car.

Lightning end of cable will separate and fray, potentially start a fire

Bought these for the length, even with delicate use they are coming apart. Bought the more sturdy rope style ones from Monoprice after these failed and those are even worse. Guess I learned my lesson, stick to Ethernet cables, stay away from charging cables.

Lasted about 2 months
