I learned about this sous vide from wire cutter. They test all kinds of products and list what their favourites are. I've only used it twice so far but so far so good. It definitely works better than a previous one I had which had an app on it and it kept shutting down every hour.

Works wonderfully, temperature is stable!

Spot on temperature accuracy and control. Runs very quiet.  However, as far as I can tell it lacks an audio alert when it reaches temperature and when the timer is down to zero. Both are disappointing, but not show stoppers. I use my kitchen timer.

Good price performer

It is a fine product, but I had to return it due to a slight defect and replaced it with the same.

Purchased as a replacement for a Joule that lasted 5 years. Right out of the box one of the one of the temperature display digits was messed up. (see photo) Doesn't give me much hope for a long product life.

The temperature readout is 15-20 degrees off what the actual water temp is. This can lead to under cooked food. This company needs better QC. I've contacted the vendor. Whats suspicious is that amazon wont let you leave a bad review for this brand.....

Cool machine but temperature is waaaaaay off

power stopped working after under a month

bad product!!!

The impeller has a plastic removable cover I suppose for cleaning ease but in just 10 uses at midrange temperature, the stupid thing crystalized and broke. Being that it's the impeller housing it has rendered this thing useless. If they give me a replacement it's going to last for 10 more uses? If they give me 10 I'll get 100 uses? This ain't looking good.

I bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law and his family, since I often cook using a different brand of sous vide and they rave about it. I figured it'd be a nice gift and way for us to bond.

Well, it arrived DOA. He sheepishly mentioned it to my wife about a week after it arrived. The display flickered, the unit randomly turned off, and wouldn't heat up properly. I submitted an RMA on his behalf. He returned it and received a new unit in a reasonable time. Well, I just found out today that it worked twice before it died too. Same issues. He wasn't going to mention anything, but my wife asked him during a video call and one of the kids said, "Oh, that thing broke a while ago."

Worst gift ever. It's kind of embarrassing for both of us.
