Most guitar pedals will take an adapter, but they also run off of a 9V battery. When it arrived I was excited to try it, but couldn't find a place to put the batter in. After Googling the product, I learned this one does not take a battery and only runs by adapter... and you have to buy the adapter separately. So I ordered one, but it's been two weeks with my new effects pedal and still can't use it until the adapter gets here. I think the ordering instructions for the guitar pedal should have made this clear.
