A lot bigger than I thought I bought it thinking I could keep the Grackles and Starlings away,  but that didn't work. They sit underneath it and eat the seed that falls out of it while the smaller song birds are eating. But, it's a great feeder and very sturdy. It holds quite a lot of food too, which is convenient. I like that it can feed so many at a time.

I have been VERY pleased with the Stokes Bird Feeder.  It's really sturdy and holds quite a bit more seed than my other feeders.  That means I can routinely refill once a day rather than 2 or 3 times, since we have a LOT of birds coming to the feeder daily.  Interestingly, parrots, bluejays

These are my birds favorite feeders. I have 5 of them so far, they go to them first then other feeders when empty or too busy

Good feeder, great value

I ordered 2, one came green and one blue.  They are a nice size, typical tube feeder that our birds like to use.  I have a few larger capacity feeders because these empty quickly with heavy activity.

The Birds love it.  They were a little hesitant at first and sort of sat back on the fence and just watched it for a while.  But finally, one little brown wild bird found his courage and flew to one of the 6 perches on the feeder, stuck his head into the hole and eagerly started eating as much of the fresh bird seed as he could get into his little beak.  And then a crowd of birds followed his lead and the new bright blue Stokes Bird Feeder was officially accepted!

Feeder holds a lot of food, so no daily feeling.  Easy to clean.  Overall, it has held up now for over a year.  Additional one purchase for another location.

Nice Feeder

Great bird feeder!! Lots of ports for groups of birds to eat and has solved my issue with squirrels knocking over my feeder that kept me refilling on a daily basis.  This is ideal for smaller birds (finches and sparrows) and even works for slightly bigger birds including cardinals.
