They sure look nice in pots and they'll make wonderful gifts or plants I've been growing. I love the way they look with my herb plants. I put them around the tops of some of my Palms to hold in the moisture as well. They come in a nice size bag and are washable and reusable. I can't wait to try them with cactus and things I wish to have moisture but not water. They also can be can be soaked and use with water for hydroponic growing

Great for an indoor growing medium

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the looks of it you would think it's a big bag chocolate cereal! But it's not rocks or sponges either, it's something in-between! The little but still various size marbles are actually high heat oven baked clay balls. They do a wonderful job pretending to be soil. They don't expand as much as you would think, but they do hold moisture and plant roots down well. I've never seen one break or dissolve. They can be used over and over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: these clay pebbles hold water and come in different sizes but none to big .. you can go on short away times and not having to worry about your plants in the scorching heat of Texas. 
Easy to mix when potting a new plant or like in my case just grabbing a handful and pushing them into the soil. 
You get sooo much of them .. great amount for all my houseplants and window boxes..

Save your plants!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These clay pebbles are perfect! I have a number of houseplants and orchids that all have different watering and moisture needs. Depending on the plants needs I either use this by itself as the only media, or I mix it with potting mix and/or orchid bark. It needs to be heavily rinsed prior to using but it's normal for this to have clay dust on it. Super happy.

Great alternative to potting mix or to combine

Clay Aggregate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mother eart hydroton original clay pebbles comes in a 25 liter bag. These are usually used in aquaponics or plants that grow in water. I also like to use them as top dressing for some house plants. Helps to keep moisture on top surface so it doesnt evaporate too fast. They came in pretty good shape. There was some fine dust particles from them breaking down into dust during shipping but its unavoidable. No major damage to the pebbles. Just rinse and use. Not much you can say about these. Theyre uniform and they work. Would recommend if thats what you are looking for.

Looks as it should and does what it should
