Setup is straightforward with intuitive settings.

Can be durable and well-made, but also prone to inconsistencies.

Can be rich and full, but also weak or plastic-tasting.

Love this Mr Coffee model. We've used nothing but Mr Coffees for decades and never had an issue with any, we just replace them after around 5 years.  This model has features are older ones didn't like strong brew and delay. It makes a super hot cup of coffee and for that you can't ask for more, and we're retired and drink coffee all day so it gets a workout.

This coffee pot I couldn't find in the actual store so I ordered it on Walmart.com.  It came very quickly in perfect condition.  The coffee pot is great.  Makes HOT coffee and quickly.  I've tried others but this Mr. Coffee works the best.  I set the timer for the a.m. and it's ready when I wake up.

Great coffeemaker

By far the best design from Mr. Coffee ever. Been using it since they tweeked the controls of the strong brew to a little faster strong brew. Now they sadly have gone away from this design. I am purchasing one more so I have three on hand for when they give out. I recommend flushing with vinegar every 30 days. This way your coffee always tastes good. If you wait until it tastes funny to clean it, it's already too late. Get yours while they still have them. Never was able to get green, had three red ones, now is the black either way it's the design!!!

Bought it for my mama, and she just can't get enough of that fresh brewed coffee. She said it taste sooooo good and loves the brewing selections and settings! She going black and red in her kitchen so we will be purchasing more items such as a new microwave, electric can opener and blender which are next on her list! (Black

Went on a weekend trip, the place we stayed had this pot. I was able to figure out how to program it without the book (score) and husband liked that the coffees ready when he wakes up. No more waiting for the k machine to warm up and brew. More maroon than red, IMO.

Out with the K in with the Mr Coffee

Great buy ! 
Recently my older Mr Coffee broke down and now I have his lovely one looks nice and modern and brews coffee super fast ! I was impressed! 
The one thing that I was bummed about was that my older one came with a reusable filter this one didnt. Its okay tho still not a deal breaker I kept my old reusable filter and the pot as they are still comparable with this new version. Im really happy with my purchase.

Super fast brew

I really did my research before settling on this coffeemaker. The Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffeemaker with a brushed metallic finish is definitely a nice surprise. My old Mr. Coffee was just the cheapest thing, and it did the job just fine for just over two years before the plate was practically rotted metal and the coffee began tasting bitter and horrible. I knew then that it was time to pick up a new one. 

I poured over reviews of everything high end that I could find. I figured that I would finally splurge on a nice coffeemaker. I almost bought a combination espresso/coffee pot machine, but it had not so nice reviews and I didn't want to make a bad choice only to have to return it. I am so glad I decided to purchase this one instead. 

I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely it was packaged, and at how beautiful it looks. It is gorgeous, and feels like it will last for a long time. The carafe did feel at first a tiny bit thinner than the old battleaxe ones from the older Mr. Coffee machines, but it is not a deal breaker for me. I think with care it will last. Setting the time was incredibly easy and effortless. I had read on Walmart reviews that sometimes the coffee tasted like plastic the very first time, so I double brewed a pot of plain water, then used vinegar, letting that sit for half an hour, before rinsing it out with plain water a couple times again just to be sure it was cleaned out inside and this worked great. The first cup of coffee this morning was absolutely superb!! My family and I are beyond happy!! It was really perfect - smooth and rich and just as flavorful as can be. Really was amazing how great it was, and tomorrow we will try the strong brew feature. 

The only complaint I have about this coffeemaker is that the time gets reset to flashing 12 AM when it is unplugged for too long. I am a person who doesn't like to leave anything unnecessary plugged in all day - the toaster, the coffeemaker... etc. Why leave anything plugged in for nothing when it is just wasting electricity and constantly trickling energy for absolutely no reason? I wish that this machine had that automatic set the time feature when you plug it in like some clock radios have. Other than that, I am in love with this coffee maker and am definitely happy with this purchase.

Nice Surprise, Quality, and Great Coffee!

It leaked all over the counter and onto the floor 2 cups worth of water after setting it up for brewing the next day on the first time setting it up. The next day I set it up again thinking I did something wrong the first time and before going to bed, it was already leaking underneath the unit from the water tank. I also don't like that the clock screen doesn't illuminate. I'm returning it for a full refund for the leaking issue.

Leaked from the water tank, a lot!

I have been a loyal Mr. Coffee owner for probably 40 years. After several years my prior machine developed a leak when it made coffee, so I replaced it with this one. I purchased on December 19, 2022. Today, April 8, 2023 when we went to make coffee we found the display blank and buttons inoperable, but the hot plate was hot! We tried making coffee, and sure enough it made coffee but does not shut off. Turning itself on and staying on is a fire hazard. I am fine with unplugging a coffee pot when not in use, but with this model the clock is not maintained without power. So I need to find an ‘auto off' machine without a clock display. I cannot recommend a product that fails in a dangerous way when it is less than 4 months old.

Fire Hazard Failure

The coffee maker worked, for a few months. After a few months, there would be several instances in which the coffee brewed was filled with grounds, and I realized that sometimes the water would pool in the brew basket instead of dripping into the coffee pot.
One day, the spring came off on the valve on the brew basket.  There is a circular piece on the valve that keeps the spring intact on the brew basket. This came off and it will not go back on. So now I cannot use it, because the spring will not stay on. There is no way to purchase a replacement part. So now I cannot use this coffee maker, after just 4 months of use. I used to stick with the Mr. Coffee brand, but it looks like it's time to move on.
