Can be durable and well-made, but also prone to inconsistencies.

Can be rich and full, but also weak or plastic-tasting.

I’m very happy with this Mr. Coffee Maker.  It’s sleek, easy to keep clean, easy to operate, and best of all - great coffee!   I don’t use the auto timer as I prefer to simply hit start when I get up.  But the timer is easy to use if you wish to.  Just read the directions first.  I find this makes 8 cups for us in record time.  By the time I wash my face, it’s ready.  The 3 soft little beeps when done aren’t loud enough to wake anyone still sleeping, but still just loud enough to warn me when it’s shutting down.  I did not have any issues with filters fitting as some reviews stated. I use the grocery store brand and they fit fine.  I like the way the basket lifts out, which is good for arthritic fingers.  Easy to clean, fill and enjoy.    I highly recommend this for good coffee at a good price.

While I am not a coffee drinker, my husband is and he likes this particular Mr. Coffee machine because it is compact and the light to show that it is on is on the top. He had left his own coffee maker on so many times it was incredible. So I bit the bullet and got him this one.

Great Mr. Coffee machine

OMG thank God this one is so much better than my prior pots. The one prior leaked off carafe every single pour making a mess and the one prior got so hot it left discolored burn marks on the counter top. This isnt the fastest, not every ammenity like 4 hr shutoff option and no 2 or 3 setting temp to keeo crafe hot as I like but i dont have to spend extra time every single cup cleaning up drips and runs down the crafe onto counter or trying to fill the base or worrying about burn marks on my counters. Yay!

Def a few better qualities but less ammenities

I like the size because it is large but collected, I love the color since it is metallic red almost wine and it suits me with the kitchen.  The coffee tastes great and I like how convenient it is to make it regular or strong.  The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have the reusable filter but otherwise I quite like it.

I love this coffee pot!

Easy to use and program.  Love the 2 hour Auto shutoff. Brews full pot in less than 10 mins. Hotter brew than previous Mr. Coffee and we’ve always purchased this brand. The red is stunning. Absolutely happy with this buy. Only issue is with the smaller reusable brew basket. Had to use our previous one (we still use unbleached paper filters to experience less oils).

Overall great buy

I really did my research before settling on this coffeemaker. The Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffeemaker with a brushed metallic finish is definitely a nice surprise. My old Mr. Coffee was just the cheapest thing, and it did the job just fine for just over two years before the plate was practically rotted metal and the coffee began tasting bitter and horrible. I knew then that it was time to pick up a new one. 

I poured over reviews of everything high end that I could find. I figured that I would finally splurge on a nice coffeemaker. I almost bought a combination espresso/coffee pot machine, but it had not so nice reviews and I didn't want to make a bad choice only to have to return it. I am so glad I decided to purchase this one instead. 

I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely it was packaged, and at how beautiful it looks. It is gorgeous, and feels like it will last for a long time. The carafe did feel at first a tiny bit thinner than the old battleaxe ones from the older Mr. Coffee machines, but it is not a deal breaker for me. I think with care it will last. Setting the time was incredibly easy and effortless. I had read on Walmart reviews that sometimes the coffee tasted like plastic the very first time, so I double brewed a pot of plain water, then used vinegar, letting that sit for half an hour, before rinsing it out with plain water a couple times again just to be sure it was cleaned out inside and this worked great. The first cup of coffee this morning was absolutely superb!! My family and I are beyond happy!! It was really perfect - smooth and rich and just as flavorful as can be. Really was amazing how great it was, and tomorrow we will try the strong brew feature. 

The only complaint I have about this coffeemaker is that the time gets reset to flashing 12 AM when it is unplugged for too long. I am a person who doesn't like to leave anything unnecessary plugged in all day - the toaster, the coffeemaker... etc. Why leave anything plugged in for nothing when it is just wasting electricity and constantly trickling energy for absolutely no reason? I wish that this machine had that automatic set the time feature when you plug it in like some clock radios have. Other than that, I am in love with this coffee maker and am definitely happy with this purchase.

Nice Surprise, Quality, and Great Coffee!

Need to replace a Black and Decker coffee maker that gave out. Bought for the looks since I loved the red. The coffee maker brews coffee fast while still producing great tasting and hot coffee. It is very easy to use and set up. I wished they had put a backlight or light around the clock to make it easier to read, but I feal that is the one downside of the machine.

Easy to use and great looking

I was very disappointed with this purchase! The clock does not light up so you can’t see the numbers to set the time or to program the time to have your coffee ready! My old version of the mr coffee the little screen where the time is lit up, this doesn’t make any sense especially how technology is today. Also it shows online and on the box that the whole coffee pot is red which only the front of it is red and the sides

This coffee maker is absolute garbage. Worst one I've ever used. After a couple months of fully functional operation it began fogging up the time display, and I thought nothing of it until at one point I noticed there was steam literally coming from the interface, buttons and everywhere it's NOT supposed to come out of. Mr Coffee guys must've thought that was okay. So now it barely works, and thanks to Walmart's broken website I couldn't get a 2 year warranty on it because for some reason it didn't go through when I clicked the button. Maybe that's the app's fault, I dunno. Waste of nearly $30. Get a better one for a few more bucks. And stainless steel, no leaks and you don't get a disgusting stained carafe.

Not what I expected

This coffee maker makes VERY weak coffee. It has a cheap plastic faucet that pours heated water through what ever grind you have in the basket. One quick pass through your grind. Strength is watery - like dipping a tea bag for one second. The basket cant even collect the water and steep the grind. Some other drip coffee makers build steam inside the chamber. Steam condenses in and through the coffee grounds, and finally drips into the carafe, with full flavor. 
This is a truly horrible product. AND you have to buy a wire basket separately. Another $10 ! 
Mrs. Coffee should file for divorce!
