I'm very pleased overall with my new Mr. Coffee maker! I searched online for the red model as it compliments my kitchen colors. It's a breeze to setup and start using! It has a nice array of settings to select, all operating nicely. Bottom line ..... it makes a great cup of coffee

Man of leisure

walmart.com

While I am not a coffee drinker, my husband is and he likes this particular Mr. Coffee machine because it is compact and the light to show that it is on is on the top. He had left his own coffee maker on so many times it was incredible. So I bit the bullet and got him this one.

Great Mr. Coffee machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this coffee machine and I was so happy to find it in red on your website and the price was just right! I always buy my coffee machines from Walmart but thrilled to find red online as I couldn't find it anywhere else.

I love the silver bars on the control panel instead of the buttons with the words that wear off over time. Coffee brews quickly, it's much hotter than it was with my old coffeemaker and I love the beep when it's done brewing. The only thing I don't like about it is the clock display is hard to see. The numbers were red on my old coffeemaker and easy to see. But that's my only complaint!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this coffeemaker!

I have to say, I was surprised at how nice this coffee maker is for the price.

It's basic and easy to use. I love that it came in Red (my kitchen is red and white).
The 'delay brew' works good, I set it for 2:30am - ready for my first cup at 3:00am. It also has settings for regular brew or strong brew, I love that.

*Don't forget to buy coffee filters (round), it doesn't come with a filter basket like some do.*

I would recommend this coffee maker for a single person or people that doesn't drink a lot of coffee in the morning. My husband and I get 2 cups each out of one pot of coffee. We drink way more than that in the morning, so I make another pot. It's no problem, it brews super fast.

Great Little Coffee Maker!
Highly Recommended!

Very heavy coffee drinkers here. Go through 3-5 pots a day. Had it for about a month so far and no problems. Delay timer works very well, coffee tastes good, stays hot, 2 hour shut off works good, looks nice, big enough water filling area. Only thing I don’t like is the clock. Not back lit. We use the clock for our kitchen clock, but not with this one. Time will tell (pun) how long it holds up. Would recommend this item if you do not need the clock feature.

So far so good

Need to replace a Black and Decker coffee maker that gave out. Bought for the looks since I loved the red. The coffee maker brews coffee fast while still producing great tasting and hot coffee. It is very easy to use and set up. I wished they had put a backlight or light around the clock to make it easier to read, but I feal that is the one downside of the machine.

Easy to use and great looking

This coffee maker is really good. It brews a pot very fast, have two flavor settings, easy to fill and the brewing arm swings in and out of the way. Like the color also. Has a timer to set a brew time to wake up to. Only negative is the clock time is hard to see. Would have been nice to have it luminated.

It's really good!!

This pot replaced one that was very similar (also a Mr. Coffee). Only this one does not allow you to grab a coffee before it's finished brewing. Also, I keep finding coffee grounds in my coffee. Looks like the grounds go up over the top of the filter while it's brewing. There is no little springy thing on the bottom of the basket either. I wish I had saved the basket part from the old coffee maker.

Not as nice as the other model.

This is cute from the outside BUT unfortunately is made from cheap plastic material. Have used it several times already and each time it smells like burned plastic: can't be healthy, so no, didn't drink it.
When we open the top lid after brewing, it smells like melting plastic. I will probably have to return. Was hoping to receive a quality product from Mr. Coffee. Our previous coffee pot from Mr. Coffee lasted us for over 30 years. Unfortunately, the average consumer over 40yrs old realizes that it's near impossible to purchase quality anymore, they make things carelessly and build to break so you will have to purchase another Much, Much sooner than what you would have 30 years ago...... will probably have to purchase another model and give it a go, or just make cold brew at home. Found out its cheaper and never a bitter flavour; easy to make.

Disappointment and made Cheaply

This coffee maker is absolute garbage. Worst one I've ever used. After a couple months of fully functional operation it began fogging up the time display, and I thought nothing of it until at one point I noticed there was steam literally coming from the interface, buttons and everywhere it's NOT supposed to come out of. Mr Coffee guys must've thought that was okay. So now it barely works, and thanks to Walmart's broken website I couldn't get a 2 year warranty on it because for some reason it didn't go through when I clicked the button. Maybe that's the app's fault, I dunno. Waste of nearly $30. Get a better one for a few more bucks. And stainless steel, no leaks and you don't get a disgusting stained carafe.

Not what I expected

Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Rapid Brew System in a front 3/4 view showing its stainless steel and black plastic body, digital clock display set to 7:30 AM, control buttons for hour, minute, freshness timer, and strong brew selector, with a glass carafe marked up to 12 cups inside the drip coffee maker compartment, suitable for programmable brewing and fast coffee preparation.
