So when your going through the hours on the pot you will see a small dot appear next to the pm sign, this indicates if it is pm or am. Its just sad they couldnt include this on the instructions, also if your having trouble with brew later, click the button set time(blinking light)  and then double tap it, the brew later button should then stay on should stay on. Hope this helps ppl!

How Pm works

I bought this machine yesterday and was disappointed when it didn't start brewing at 5:30 AM, as I "thought" I had set it.    I finally found the manual listed under the wrong description...12 Cup  PC12_19ESMI. It doesn't say programmable but when you click on the link you will see this programmable coffee maker. Originally, I set the delay start  time (the white light blinked) and then the light just went out.  This is why it didn't work the next day.  After reading the above manual I noted  you have to push the delay start button a second time after you set the start time. It  then changes to a solid white light to indicate it is set.   You have to reset it each day. I assume this solves the problem and I will have coffee at 5:30 AM tomorrow.  It would be a lot easier if Mr. Coffee simply dropped a piece of paper in the box explaining how to set the delay start time button correctly!

Finally figured out how to set delay start!

I purchased this coffee maker within the last year. I loved everything about it. It is easy to set the brew later, it is easy to fill and set up for our  morning routine. But recently the button you push to delay brew has started to stick and I have had to play with it to get it to activate. It makes a great cup of coffee, but Im  not sure if I would have purchased it with this issue

information manual that come with the coffee maker. doesn't tell you how to use the brew later mode. after searching for two days I finally found how the brew later mode worked in the frequently asked questions. You have to set up the brew later by,  
1. Press brew later button
2. set time to brew
3. Press brew later button again
Now you should have a light on the brew later button.
After you set the time up for brew later. You should not need to reset the time unless you want to change the time to brew.
you will have to press the brew later button twice if not change time.
Should have a solid light if brew later is set.
Need to add this to your information manual with the coffee maker.

Could not get brew later to work.

I just bought this model 3 days ago because I like to have my coffee brewed by the time I get up.  There is no manual with the coffee maker.  If you go to the site for instructions and manuals you will NOT find the model listed on the bottom of the machine.  Thanks to another old review, I found a manual, and instructions for the "delay brew" function.  It is under 12 cup, PC12_19ESM1. Really very frustrating.  Almost returned the coffee maker to the store.

I just purchased this week, I chose Mr. Coffee programmable because of my confidence in the product/company. I am not very happy with this model! I set the programmable feature every day, but it never turns on at the time set. I push the button to set, it starts flashing, I set the time, then nothing happens in the morning. It does not have an indicator to show if it has accepted or set the program, so the assumption is that it is set.  I have even tried unplugging and resetting, still nothing.  Looked for the instruction manual online, nothing for BVMC-PC12BL2-NP, because the one in the box was not very helpful. Not very happy!

Programmable issues

So I bought this coffee maker the other day because my old one was too small and I needed a 12 cup. I used it once and the plastic piece in the inner basket broke off and the spring went flying. Not sure if there was another piece but it will not fit back in the hole with the spring without another plastic piece to hold it on so I'm guessing that is gone now I have searched my kitchen and I cannot find it. So I guess I have to go find a replacement basket somewhere or buy another machine which will not be by Mr. Coffee

Used once and the inner basket broke! Junk.

Bought this last nite to replace broken 5 cup Mr Coffee pot. Should have known to switch brands. Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchase. Just like all other comments...the Brew Later button doesn't work. NO INSTRUCTIONS listed in the one page insert in box to explain how to set it. NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL ONLINE EITHER. I'm not wasting my time any further. As soon as the store opens I'm taking it back for a refund and will buy a different brand. I DON'T NEED THE GRIEF WITH THIS SUBSTANDARD COFFEE POT. To the manufacturer-quit apologizing as if you didn't know of these issues! Read your own website reviews and PULL THIS PRODUCT FROM THE SHELVES. Go back to the drawing board with the feedback on this site and fix the problems before marketing it again. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. THIS IS INSANE!

This coffee maker sucks!

I have always bought Mr.Coffee coffee makers and have always been satisfied with them. I just bought this one, it works fine but the design really sucks. 1st, the fill lid opens from the side, right to left. Big inconvenience for me, I'm left handed. 2nd, when the lid is open it is between my sink and the coffee maker, I don't have the counter space to put it anywhere else. If I would have noticed this before I bought it, I would have left it on the shelf. 3rd, the viewing window isn't that easy to read. Whoever designed this isn't very good at designing. As soon as I find one that works for me, I'll throw this pile in the garbage.

Poor design

I received this product as a gift from my sister who lives in USA... I was very happy coz I enjoyed the coffee two times then everything changed.NOW, I press the BREW NOW botton and nothing happen although the green light is ON...what's wrong with it...any help plz
