Got this for a gift. This is my first time making homemade ice cream. I absolutely love it and it makes delicious ice cream. I have found that crushed ice and snow work best. Don't leave the ice cream maker on a raised smooth surface. I had left it on my dining table to churn but it scooted itself off the table and I had a mess to clean. I put it either in my sink or on the floor. The kitchen counter also works. My dining table must have been too smooth.

used sold as new...ugh!

Bought two of these and neither one is worth bringing home and plugging up. Ice Cream doesn't get cold, the paddle never turned, after having worked for several minutes trying to make the motor turn the paddle, still no luck. It cuts off too soon and the ice cream was runny, rock salt couldn't even help to harden. I would not ever buy another one of these and wouldn't advise anyone else to buy one. Furthermore, I wouldn't accept one if you tried to give it to me. Don't waste your money. OH, I almost forget...you have to freeze the canister for two to three hours before use.

Worst Ice Cream Maker Out There

This ice cream freezer is a piece of crap.  I used it the frist time it not get cold, the motor went out the frist time.  I never will buy another one. cost a lots of in getting the stuff buying the freezer. waste of time and money.

mr freeze is a P.O.S

Wish I had the name of the manufacturer.  I bough this last year, this year the paddle won't turn!  I just used my blender
