I work in Acute Hospital providing Physical Therapy to patients with devastating medical conditions and unable to move, function I've been using Lower Back belt  to  support and also to protect my back from flaring again Additionally to exercises having my Mueller Lower Back Brace is must be

Would have given 5 stars, but as with most all velcro braces they never line up. The first supporting band always a little wider than the band that goes against your skin. The velcro prickly things are exposed next to the skin and irritating on the second supporting band. I use a piece of fabric to cover the exposed pricklies. The 3rd and 4th adjustable bands are great.

it was just wonderful. It helped my back. I wore it all day. I bought two of them so I wouldn't run out, but it was very strong so I think I'll have them for a long time and my give one of them to my grandson an excellent pie.

My husband and I had similar back braces for several years but they finally gave out and became too stretchy and pilled. These new ones really hold you in and give your back a break and some needed help. I like to wear it when I'm going to be walking alot, like shopping and I also wear it to events where there is a lot of up and down and walking, like Disneyland. Both my husband and I wear them under our clothes with a loose shirt on top. Once you sit for a while you have to readjust them but a quick trip to the restroom will get it back in shape. I have no real back problems I'm just out of shape and over working makes my lower back hurt, sometimes for days. These back braces hold you in a good position and make your back work less hard. My husband has had several back surgeries and he still like to wear his brace if he's going to be out walking or picking up things in the yard. He says it makes him feel more steady and the compression feels good on his lower back. If you've over worked or are going out for some major exercise and walking, I'd recommended this back brace.

It works well

This is the forth belt of this type that I use daily. I have had other belts provided by doctors, but those expensive belts don't do the job. After a couple years, they do wear out for me, and I buy a new one. I give the old ones to my son, who works construction, and he said these old belts do wonders for support. This $25.00 belt does a much better job than those costing over $100.00. I can't tell you how many strangers see me wearing this belt, and ask me where I bought it. I tell them Walmart! Because I wear this, several folks think I work for the store. I just help them as best as I can.

This is my daytime belt for my injured back.

Somehow I hurt my lower back with outside activities - maybe surfing after many years, and became sore when I assumed certain positions, sitting or standing.  The soreness seemed to resemble piriformis syndrome, with sharp pains traveling down both legs, but stopping at the knees.  I did find an old wrap I had, and it seemed to help some, but not nearly as supportive as I felt I needed. I googled for quality wraps and came across the Meuller Lumbar Back Brace. The reviews were encouraging.  Walmart carried it, but I needed to order it online.  I thought it would take a week or so to get it, but it actually arrived at the local Walmart for pickup within a few hours of the same day I ordered it. That was fast.  I put the Meuller wrap on  and soon realized this was very helpful in relieving any pain or soreness. I felt I also needed to stretch my leg muscles and do some jogging too, and wore the wrap when jogging with encouraging results.  My back and legs are doing much better now. Perhaps it was the natural healing of my body, but wearing the wrap during the sore times to get through this sure helped.  Oh, I do have a backyard fence to put up, and will certainly keep this wrap handy when I do that outside work.

I purchased one these in a Walmart store a couple of years ago and I love it. My back goes out a lot and when it does, I would not be able to walk without this back brace. My daughter pulled her back a few weeks ago so I gave her mine. I went to Walmart to purchase another one and learned they are only sold online now. So I order another one for myself. Please don't stop selling them. I have found no other store that offers them in-store or online. Not even big chain drug stores.

Just be careful which of these you order.  There are two of them which seem to be exactly alike but one if much more expensive.  Sorry I can't tell you which at the moment...

Anyways, so long as you realize what you are buying it's great.  I use mine all day...every day...due to back issues.  Honestly it does just fine.  I don't have any unrealistic expectations about it and, to me, it's better than the ones I tried that were over twice the price.  Holds my ice packs fine and I can adjust it as tight as I want.  It is also good at being adjustable to the spot I need it....left side of spine, right side, etc...

Yes it's disposable...after awhile...  but heck, what isn't?  Daily use lasts me up to a year sometimes.

Very good especially for the price

This support belt is for people with larger waist. At least it is not for my waist (27"). I was trying to wear the support belt by putting on 5 layers of clothes underneath of it. However, the belt is still too loose for me.

Waist size needs larger than 27"

I tried on the brace and it took a lot of strength to pull it around my torso. After getting the main belt fastened, I fastened the smaller, outer belt. It only took a few seconds and the outer belt snapped open. Then I could hear the Velcro on the inner belt begin to tear apart.

I checked a second time for the size and it read 30" to 50" inch waist. I have a 40" waist.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what that would be.

All of the ratings, except for "meets expectation" are give if the belt would have fit.

Too Tight

This was supposed to fit up to a 50 inch waist, and my husband is a 34 waist and he could not get it to close without squeezing him so tight that he could not breathe.  It was meant for me and I have a 40 inch waist.  So someone needs to read a measuring tape correctly.  It was returned.
