Provides full-length coverage of the bath tub.

Can be strong on flat surfaces, but may struggle with textured or curved areas.

Has a lingering odor that persists after use.

My toddler no longer slips and slides all over the bath tub. It was easy to install and stays suctioned down during bath time. It's also surprisingly easy to pull back up and throw over the curtain to finish drying. Also super comfy under the adults feet during their showers.

Bath or Shower

The item functions as expected! The anti slip is nice and I hang it up to air dry after every use to prevent mold or germs. I would but this again!

Its large enough to cover the tub. I like that there is holes in it so the weather can drain away with out me constantly lifting it. I definitely recommend it and the price is nice also.

Great but for a great price

I needed a mat for my tab because I was transitioning my baby out if the baby tub. This is so comfortably cushioned that we all love using it. The only downside was I didn't know these didn't stick to textured tubs. So it doesn't suction fully to the tub. It still stays down and doesn't float.

Cushioned well, doesn't stick to textured tubs

Suctions pretty well and is good for non-slip, but it smells really bad. I thought the other reviews about the smell was a one off, or maybe an exaggeration.. but it's not, it really does smell and it really doesn't seem to go away. Have been using for a month now, and the only thing that has changed is I have kind of been desensitized to the smell, I only notice it occasionally.

Works well, but smells terrible

Looks okay, fits okay. Does not stick too well, so it slips when entering the tub. Most of all it has a real bad odor that hasn't gone away even after leaving it open, spraying with fabric freshener and taking a lot of showers. It was cheap. I may have to toss

Okay but stinks

We love Munchkin products, but the plastic smell of this mat is strong and lingering, even after lots of use. It was left outside to air out but that didn't help much. We ordered online—maybe product purchased in store has breathed better and doesn't have such a strong smell.

The product works good. My issue is the smell. It smells like baby %26 dog poop mixture. I cleaned with Dawn. Soaked in vinegar, rinsed then doused it in baking soda… the smell is still there.
I Don't really trust for my baby to sit on it. Sucks because it is a great bath mat!

Horrendous smell

I wish I had read more into the reviews. The smell of this mat is overbearing. We have tried washing the mat multiple times and even soaked it in white vinegar. Nothing helps! It's a shame we liked everything else about it for our 2 year old. But the smell makes us concerned about the safety of this product, which literally smells like straight toxins.

Pay close attention to the pictures of this bath mat! The suction cups are along the edges only and there are only two suction cups under the middle. DO NOT BUY THIS MAT FOR SHOWERING. It's unsafe and dangerous for anyone standing in a wet tub on this mat. The elderly would be especially susceptible to falls trying to use in a tub for showering.

For small children sitting in tub only!

Munchkin Soft Spot Cushioned Bath Mat, Gray front-facing top-down view of a 36" x 17" cushioned tub mat with textured grip grooves, drain holes and strong suction cups along underside edges for non-slip hold on most smooth bath and shower surfaces; suitable for baby or adults.
