The tomato paste is ideal for giving extra colour, flavour, and texture to dishes. It is especially suitable for dishes needing very long cooking times such as ragùs, stews and one-pot wonders. It is also ideal for short cooking time meals such as when preparing a sauce à la volée for pasta or sauces, and for side sauces. For 1 kg of Tomato Paste you need 5.5 kg of fresh tomatoes.

Ease Of Preparation

Now i no longer have small poly bags with left over tomatoe paste. Squeeze a little when you need it tastes hood snd it lasts in the fridge

Very practical snd it tasyes goo

I loved using mutti tomato paste for this dish, the tomato flavours and freshness really came out. The tomato paste added a vibrant addition to my chicken and rice. I will note the packaging tube made it hard for all paste to come out. I felt as thought I could get more out of the tube but I couldn't squeeze it out.

Amazing flavour

I love this product. I always try and have a tube on hand. It beats the tomorrow paste in the tiny cans that you have to use all at once. The flavour is fresh and. A tad acidic. One thing I did not love is that it's hard to open. There is a little sharp price on the other side of the lip but it's Soo Thick that it's hard to Peirce the metal safety cap.

A staple in our home.

This was my first time using tomato paste in a tube. This design is so convenient, especially for my small family. It lets me use small amounts of tomato paste at a time with no worries about waste or losing a container in the back of my fridge.
So how is the taste? Great! It's a bit sweeter than I expected, which was good. I added this to my meal this evening, and it was delicious. This may need to become my new go-to for tomato paste.

Great product

I just used this Mutti tomato paste as opposed to my regular "small can competitor" when thickening my homemade tomato sauce and honestly, I really enjoyed this product. First, the tube style allowed me to adjust the amount I was putting into my sauce without any waste. Second, the taste balanced my fresh tomatoes very well and added an almost sweeter element to my finished sauce compared to how it regularly turns out. I will be purchasing Mutti tomato paste again!

Great in Homemade Sauce!

I love the fact that there is a screw on cap! Also I like that there is no weird metallic taste to the paste! Overall it's a high quality paste that i definitely would purchase again! I also love the fact that it contains only 2 ingredients, super clean!!

Awesome taste

The product is a lot smoother than other tomato paste I have bought and it is not watering at all. It has a very rich flavor and I was very impressed with it. Going forward I will be only buying this product. It is a bit pricier although it is worth the little bit extra. If you havent tried it before I highly recommend it.

Amazing

Mutti's tomato paste is a great and convenient solution to enhancing any dish, dip or spread. It has a great authentic tomato taste and the minimal ingredients consisting only of tomatoes and salt also makes it a great product to have in the house and works for any diet. Mutti's tomato paste is extremely versatile and good to have on hand at all times.

Authentic, taste, simple ingredients

I'm not usually a tomato sauce fan but I used this in a potato bake instead of a white sauce and it was delicious. The tang of tomato is great, not too overpowering but noticeably there. I would buy this again, even if I don't eat tomato sauce often!

New Tomato fan

It has gone bad it was leaking and it dried and got stuck to the cardboard box and had a pungent smell.

It was spoiled
