I got this shampoo because I have used Matrix Dark Envy (green shampoo that cancels out red tones) before in the past and it looks like they stopped making it so I decided to explore and try another color/depositing shampoo. 
So Silver changed their design and in a shampoo cleanses and neutralizes unwanted brassy warmth and eliminates dull, yellow tones. 
I highly recommend Matrix line as they have so many different variations and different neutralizers to choose from. It's the best thing for your buck and keeping your hair color tones in check all while just shampooing your hair.

Recently decided to lean into the grey hair and stop dyeing (eeek!). If I'm going to go silver, I want it to be bright white and not that dingy, chain-smoker color that I see so often. Read the reviews on many shampoos and decided to go with this one, and I'm so pleased!! It smells pretty good and has a nice lather, but that bright purple color is the magic. Just broke into my second bottle yesterday. I highly recommend putting rubbing a bit in on dry hair for about 15 minutes before shampooing - it helps to tone out any brassy overtones and really make that silver shine after washing. I also have struggled with dandruff (especially after shifting products), and am relieved there's been no resurgence.

I have mostly white hair. Before I started using this once a week it was starting to have ugly yellow hues; they went away within two weeks of using this shampoo. I wash my hair twice a week--once with Matrix, once with regular shampoo. I am a fan for life.

I received Matrix So Silver Shampoo, Conditioner and Hairspray from BzzAgent and was pleasantly surprised. The products took any brassiness I had in my highlights out and made them look fresh. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair clean and soft, and the hairspray held my hair in place without making it hard to the touch. Great products I will be purchasing in the future

No brass!

LOVE this shampoo + the whole So Silver line! Sleek bottles with the prettiest ash purple color, smells amazing, lathers perfectly + it's not nearly as drying as other purple shampoos! Not nearly as costly either. Tbh when I want that freshly toned/lightened look  I let this sit, saturated, on my dry hair for like 3 minutes before lathering + rinsing. I get complimented on my hair every time I go out (not exaggerating!) but I haven't gone to the salon in over a year- how's that for proof of quality!?

I bought the Color Obsessed So Silver Shampoo from Ulta because the lady behind the counter had beautiful white blonde hair and she suggested it to keep my blonde bright and white. I used this product once and it burnt and irritated my scalp! It was awful, irritated, itchy, and painful for days. How can they sell a shampoo that does this to people? Aren't there any regulations on these ingredients and their safety!
