My grandson loves this! We had early Christmas and I think this was his favorite gift. It was so reasonably priced and came with a certificate of Atari authenticity of their 50th anniversary. I recommend this product!

Bought this for my roommate for their birthday and they loved it. The screen is very bright and the D-pad is very responsive and buttons work pretty good. For 40 bucks it's a decent experience. I recommend it

For people who like collecting handhelds and etc.

Perfect size.  Throw back graphics.  Adjustable brightness and sound.  Use your phone charger to play without batteries.  4 AA batteries for on the go playing.  Caution - you'll need a tiny little Philips head screwdriver to place the batteries.  Lots of throw back Atari games.  Use headphones for private play.  I was playing Asteroids right away because the controller buttons are so intuitive.  Never even glanced at instructions.  I can't find a thing wrong with this thing.  Design was very well thought out.  A masterpiece pf modern engineering.  I will be buying more from My Arcade.  I got my eye on Tetris Pro.  Highly recommend.  Thanx Walmart for another awesome buying experience.  I never shop from anyone else anymore.  Peace.

I bought this for my sister in law for christmas. She used to have a hangman game years ago but it broke so when I saw this and it had hangman and so many others games I knew I had to get it for her. The best part is she loves it. The hand held system is easy for her to use and she is so happy with it.

If you're missing the old-school graphics of 80s video games, this fun handheld has them.  I'm having great fun playing Asteroids and Tempest.  The controls are easy to reach and understand, although a PAUSE button would be a welcome addition.  The graphics are simple, of course, but the screen res is clear and clean.  The console is easy to hold and pleasing to the eye.  For a dose of nostalgic video games, this is a good choice with many games to keep you entertained, and for not a lot of money.  I recommend it.

This unit, and others like it by the same company, are quality items, and worth the money. I like that it can be played using batteries, or USB micro cord. (I use mine with a battery pack at times). 
My only advice to potential buyers, is to pay close attention to the games offered.  The "Galaga/Galaxian/Xevious" version i looks and sounds just the arcade game, while most of the games on the Atari Pocket Player Pro, are from the Atari 2600 era, (with a few exceptions). So if your expecting arcade versions of games like Centipede, or Millipede, or Asteroids, you may be disappointed. Having said that, $50 for this many games is quite a deal for Atari Fans. If you're more of a 80's "arcade" fan, look for other pocket players by My Arcade.
