[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My life as Mermaid Blanket is even prettier in person. It looks cute on any bigger doll. It has an opening where the bottom purple “pretend” fin is, so a dolls feet can wear it as a skirt if you wanted to. The top and bottom of the blanket is stretchy, the area where the turquoise ,is not stretchy. The turquoise are that is meant to look look like a fish scales , it has these pretty turquoise sequins that shine like a fishes scales would reflect light. It's so pretty to look at. It's easy to dress up your doll with or keep warm as a blanket. Your little one should have no trouble pulling it off and on a doll. I wouldn't consider it a blanket though, it seems more like an article of clothing. The only thing that was a bummer, was when my child put the blanket on her doll, since the turquoise part isn't stretch material, it ripped a little on the one seam. I sewed it and it was back in business. My daughter loves it because she can now pretend her doll is a mermaid

This is going to make a perfect Christmas present for a very special little girl! Paired with the matching 18 inch doll, I cant imaging any little girl not absolutely loving this. All little girls seem to be taken with mermaids so to be able to turn her new doll into a mermaid is going to put a smile on their faces. This would be perfect for Christmas, birthday, or any other day!

Doll blanket

My granddaughter had to put this on another doll because she had already donated her American Girl Dolls to charity. It was ok though because it looked fine on one of her other baby dolls. The outfit is so colorful and pretty. My granddaughter and her doll had a great time playing with this outfit.
