[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've already sliced 2 loaves of sourdough and it works great.  I cut each sandwich sized loaf in half to make slicing easier, as the loaves were very tall.  I prefer half slices of sourdough!  I'll also be using it for block chedder cheese!

I have been making face and body cream for the last 20 or so years for my family. But I always had used a balancing scale, thus a lot of mathematical equasions to accomplish the amount of ingredients used.
After using the KD 8000 especially with the tare value, it saved me at least an hour  or so of time to get the job done.
I recommend this scale in soap/cream making and in cooking, my wife is in love with scale. This was the first time she actually made a batch of body/face cream with me because he scale made it a dream to use.
