Gameplay

I hesitated to try this because I don't like other Sims games, but I love this one. I highly recommend you get the guide for this game. There is much more to do than people think. First all the tasks, then make best friend with each Sim to collect blueprints, then try to get 100% for every essence. The game is NOT over when the credits roll. Your just getting started. MySims for the Wii and Animal Crossing for the DS are the most addictive games I've played.

The only Sims I will play

walmart.com

I've already gotten two towns up to a five star rating on this game, and am happily working on a third. I'm a sim game maniac, so I have really high expectations when I try a new one. I was pleased with the game, and thought it was a really good one. I would DEFINATELY recommend it!

Love it!

this is the my #1 over all favorite game!
I just can't put the game down.I love it so much that I got it for my wii AND my d.s.!I would highly recommend this video game.

A Game You Can't Put Down

My Sims is an awsome game!!!!! I have played Sims, Sims 2, and Sims 2 Pets on the computer and they are fun, but hard to figure out without reading the manual. I've also played Sims Pets on the Wii, and that is REALLY hard to figure out without reading the manual. My Sims is the perfect game for all ages, especially if you don't like taking the time to read a stupid manual.

Buy it!

This is an excellent wii system game for those under 10, I highly reccomend to anyone-it's intrquing, has many learning relevant games and events every time you go into it! So very user friendly, your little ones will be able to use blueprints to build furniture and homes for new people who come to "their" town , prospect for gold, see Sims from all over and get to help them with tasks and leanr about many diverse cultures, personalities and likes and dislikes-they even get to be pros at gardening! Too cute!

My Sims

I heard this game is like Animal Crossing, a game that I love. It a lot of way it is, but with Animal Crossing you ahve more "free will". You can plant things any wehre you want..put thing any where you want. With the Sims, you have certain places you can do things. Once you get past that, it's pretty fun. When you enter and exit, and other times the games loads, it does get pretty slow.

could be better.

I didn't know what to expect with this game since the characters looked different and it had been a while since I played Sims on the PC, but it was fun at first. Then got boring fairly quickly. It is easy to pick up, but after building things over and over, I was bored. My 8 year old daughter liked it, but got a little frustrated since it doesn't have great instructions for kids on how to do things and seemed to be getting bored with it after a few times.

It maybe worth buying when it comes down to $20 or so.

fun at first

I do not recommend this game for 5 year olds, only because it is more for the 10+ age group. There's just too much going on in it for a 5 year old to understand. MY expectations for this game were very high, but when I bought it I was very disappointed. The graphics were not what I expected and could have been better. The game also skips and is slow. The only reason I can make this comparison is because before I bought the game brand new, I rented it and I thought that it was just the rented disk that made it skip and it was scratched. But when I bought the game, brand new, it did the same thing. I was very angry because I shouldn't have to pay $50 for a poorly operating game. The designers should have put more focus into making it run a little bit smoother and not so choppy. I recommend this game only because it is fun and if you can move past its glitches and enjoy it.

It is ok, but not a show stopper.

While this happy-go-lucky game would be appealing to those that are younger than 10, it is a drawback for the older ones. The main reason is because it has no online connectivity. I'm not saying every game should have online capability, but this game should have. If it was based on the real "The Sims", I would like it much more. But it is not. How can a game that is supposed to be a social game, isn't? If you are like me, you'll get bored of this game after a few days. While the house design may be pretty nice, it gets SO aggravating always having to do tasks for other AI, and always having to make the furniture yourself, piece-by-piece. If I were you, I'd get the new Animal Crossing City Folk instead. My Sims is not worth the money either.

A somewhat dissapointment...

I bought this game because i have heard a lot of good things about The Sims games. I was very disappointed. I was totally bored with this game. You do the same thing over and over. I played this for 2 days hoping it would get better and it didn't. A waste of $50.00.

waste of money

MySims for Nintendo DS, a simulation video game by Electronic Arts, featuring a vibrant cover with cartoon-style characters like a chef, police officer, and others in a lively town setting. Rated E for Everyone.
