My kid loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little toys were a bigger hit with my kids than I thought they would be. Both my 6 and 12 year old thought these were fun. They have different songs/ sounds depending on what you are doing with them, and they even interact with each other. Each little creature comes with a little outfit that can be swapped between for added fun. I also appreciate you can put them in a "quiet" mode by pressing their nose for times where a quiet toy is more appropriate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to test these       Nano-mals cat fidgits. Purrnelope,  a calico kitty, is simply adorable with her purple skirt. She fits in the palm of your hand, and has a heart-shaped clip so you can attach her to a backpack, purse, etc. There are multiple ways to play with Purrnelope to get her happiness level up. You can pet her by pushing down on her ears, feed her by tapping her nose, make her dance by waving her arms up and down, tossing and catching her, flipping her 360°, shaking her up and down, and laying her on her back to sleep. When she is happy, her heart lights up in multiple colors and she plays a special song. For those of us that don't want to hear them singing or talking to other nano-mals, you are able to turn the kitty into silent mode. Speaking of talking to other nano-mals, if they are "awake" and facing each other, they will play a special song and make talking noises to each other. These Nano-mals are absolutely adorable. They are very reminiscent of a toy from the 90s where you had to keep them alive, but these are much cuter. The outfits they come with are interchangeable with all the Nano-mals. These are very cute,  super interactive,  and really, just a fun toy, for kids and adults. Highly recommend.

It does have heart shaped ring to hold it or to hang it like in keychain. It makes sounds when you press down its ears as if it's talking to you. When it's switched on, it keeps on making sounds on short periods, like la la la, yupoo, etc. This toy is for anyone 5+ because it contains button batteries and can burn. It says that it recognizes other nanomals toys too. The material of kitty is high grade plastic while skirt is soft plastic.

Her heart changes color based on different actions, which keeps kids engaged for a long time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave Patricia the Blue Kitty and Purrnelope the Calico Kitty a try—and let me tell you, they've officially joined the inner circle of approved toys in our household (which is harder than getting into an elite school around here).

My 10-year-old son loves the shaking feature—it cracks him up every time like it's the first time. Meanwhile, my 13-year-old daughter is obsessed with the purring. She says it's “calming,” which I think is teen-speak for “I won't pretend I'm too cool for this.”

They're adorable, travel-sized, and bless the person who gave them an actual OFF switch. That alone should earn a design medal. The light-up heart is super cute (though don't forget they do need batteries eventually—nothing stops play faster than a dead light and a confused kid).

The interchangeable outfits are fun and add a nice touch of creativity—my daughter did a full outfit swap and gave them “personalities,” while my son kept triggering their sounds mid-costume change like a fashion show with sound effects.

And yes, they do interact with each other in a silly, charming way—which led to a lot of “Did you see that??” moments and spontaneous giggling. Though, real talk: there's only so much they can do. They're not going to walk the dog or write a book report, but for tiny talking cats with purring hearts, they hold their own.

4 out of 5 stars—super cute, kid-approved, and NOT annoying. Only knocking a star because there's a bit of a cap on novelty after a while—but they've still earned permanent residency in the toy bin (and my kids' hearts).

The package says 5+, but my daughter is 9 and they are a bit babyish for her. I'd say 5-7 would be a good age. I do like that it interacts with other Nano-mals and teaches nurturing.
