[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this pencil on my top inner lid and it stays on all day. The best eye pencil on the market. Glad I was able to get it again. Couldn't find it for a while. You must get the NARS sharpener, others don't work on this type of pencil.

It's a bit softer than my classic black, And the pencil keeps it's texture and tip, it doesn't break off which I've been noticing with my other brands especially the gel ones lately! Love this! I've read that if you use a white pencil on your lower waterline it makes your eyes look larger and the whites more white. This is a creamy liner so it glides on smoothly and stays in place. It's very white upon application, it softens in time but still keeps your waterline looking brighter.

My only pet peeve is that the pencil part in the middle comes loose after a while and makes it difficult to use. Still, I would continue to repurchase and have been buying this eyeliner for years.

The color is rich and beautiful. The product goes on too thick. It's a lot! The pencil is soft and clumsy to sharpen to a point as fine as I'd like. In short, it's great if you want to schmear it on your face. If you prefer more control, you, like I, will find it just shy-of-deal-breaker annoying.

Great color, but ...

Love the colors and the consistency ( especially park avenue and grafton street). Do NOT like that this pencil needs to be sharpened, you're sharpening a plastic tube in which the colored lead 'floats'( see photo). The ( sadly discontinued) twist up kohliner was much better ( bring back the Charlotte Gainsbourgh colors)!!!!

Pencil was completely empty. There was no eyeliner inside the pencil. I thought maybe the tip had broken off and sharpened the entire thing. Nothing! Won't be purchasing again. This isn't the first time I've had issues. I decided to give it another chance but it was a mistake.

The pencil leaves pieces in my eyes, sinks back into the pencil so you have to keep sharpening it, and is impossible to sharpen because of the plastic surrounding the part you are trying to apply to your eyelids. I had the type of pencil where you rolled it up from the bottom, but this is not that tight and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to sharpen it. It's basically useless
