The satin lip pencil in Rikugien is my perfect shade of my lips but better pink. Similar to the famed orgasm shade of pink but a little more natural, not as much glitter and a touch deeper. The pencil glides effortlessly and paired with a gloss is a perfect lip that can go from day to night.

The Best Lip Pencil EVER-Why Discontinue It?

I really like the way this lip pencil feels on my lips. I frequently find my lips peel after wearing lipstick, but this does not irritate like some lip products do. I would definitely buy again.

Nice feel even after hours have passed

I purchased Rikugien and Exbury and they are both very flattering. They look very natural on my light skin tone. What I love most about these satin lip pencils is that they don't feel like they dehydrate my lips. They go on smooth.

Goes on easily. Sharpens beautifully. Does not chap lips. Ideal for travel and very day wear. Great size for purse and pocket. Best of all, does not melt in the hot weather.

Oh, no, I hope "Golden Gate" isn't discontinued! If it is, I'll stock up. I have tons of lipstick, and this one is among my favorite. On me ( fair skin, brunette) it's a brown/purple, neutral but unique, with a greige nuance depending on the lighting. It's very wearable for every day and for any occasion. Precise application since it's a pencil /crayon and it is very soft on the lips , and smooth ( no lip lines show through : ) It does need a sharpener,so I bought a Nars one. I just love this color - don't know if there is a dupe out there for it, since it's just the right formula and a unique enough color to add understated drama....

Why are you discontinuing this amazing pencil?

Love this product. I have been using it for a while and is great as a liner as well as a lippie. I've found this tends to last a little longer than the lipsticks as it stains the lips a bit more than the lipsticks do. Long lasting and really good quality pigment. I've bought this on sale so saved a few pounds too. Always worth the money regardless.
