NBA live 07 and 08 was a little bit of a let down, but this year's live is one of the best probably since live 05.

game was very fun for my nephew to play he loves it

Well i was told this was the "had to have game"..so i bought it for my fiance..he loves it. Keeps him entertained for hours..:)

I got this game for Christmas from my wife. PROS: the post moves are very good and there are mini games setup to help you improve in game play. The AI is very good too, as you have to pay attention to the action or the computer will act on your failures to guard or react. They added the Fiba world championship which is fun . The graphics are very good also. CONS: the player movement, at times it seems like your player wants to move on their own( for instance after a fake they take off without input), the passing is horrible since sometimes your player will pass the ball to someone you don't intend to pass to (or wasn't even pointing towards) therefore allowing the comp to pick the pass off, the game will lock up periodically or give disk read errors ( my other games don't do this). The franchise mode length is only for a full (not shortened) NBA season which means you have to sim through much of it or it will take forever to complete a season and enjoy the draft and other features. It will only allow you to modify the playoff length. I enjoy playing the season, not simulating it . I prefer the way 2k does their association in allowing you the choice of a shorter season length. I used to be an NBA live fan but not so much any more. I have 2k8 also and I would prefer 2k over live.

Could have been better

I recently purchased this product for my son's birthday. He was very disappointed when it would not play in his xbox360. He tried it in a friends and it still would not play. I am mailing it back to you for an exchange Monday. Lets hope we get a product that works.

Verdict still out

ive had to return it 4 times none of them would go pass the preveiws before saying error 4 times that is ridiculous waist of time so i would would not reccomend this game go for 2k9 it actually works without going back and forth to the store
