Great gun for closer range! I love using this gun! Have had for 1 year and still works great! Only thing is, you will need to replace darts every 6 months. Great :)

It is super awsome!  I think it works really well. The double firing action is cool aswell. I also like that it kinda looks and works like Reapers dual guns from overwatch.

Before I review, bare in mind that I review the blaster and components as packaged, unaltered and unmodified.
     Initial thoughts: The Rough Cut is a decent blaster, but I wasn't thrilled with it. I like the open barrel design that allows you to quickly reload on the fly. This is a great feature for HvZ (Humans vs. Zombies). However, I hate using it! The Rough Cut's "smart AR" system is anything but smart. Should you desire to shoot one dart at a time (as the directions state that you can) you will unintentionally fire two darts at the same time. In many cases, I have fired darts from differing barrel placements that caused the darts to fall weakly to the floor. I don't like the inconsistency. I have used three different Rough Cuts and had the same experience each time. It does have a tactical rail, if you want to add a scope or something obnoxious. Not sure why you would do that. I do like that it is pump action.
    Conclusion: Use this up close, and accept its obvious flaws. If you can't do that, this is not the blaster for you.
