[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading reviews im glad I purchased. Fun works great , has kick , and is exactly what description said. Although I can say the reaload design I don't like as much cause bullets can fall out, still very simple to reload despite this.

Great choice

Our family loves having Nerf battles. We even have our best friends over often (their kids are same ages as ours) for game/nerf war nights. (We literally have a huge dresser in our bedroom that is used solely to house our nerf guns/bullets. 😬My daughter got her dad in our family's “Secret Santa” drawing this year and knew immediately she wanted to get him a new nerf gun. When she saw this one she just had to get it for him. He was excited to receive this and try it out right away (our daughter is probably regretting that decision now 😅). It even. And with protective eyewear which I thought was a nice touch!

Not just for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PROs of this gun are: extremely fast loading, faster than all previous models. There are many rails on this gun so if you purchase the (sold separately) attachment reload cartridges they will attach right on to this gun and allow for even faster loading. This gun is a step up from the previously released gun with round balls. The balls are smaller measuring at 1 cm, and squishy rubber(more solid). This gun shoots at 110fps, much faster than previous at 70-90fps. That being said when you get shot with this you know, and there is no denying it as you get a nice welt as an adult. (my 37 year old husband said it was painful.) This item notes capacity is 40, however the directions say 30 max. We have noticed if you overload much past the 30 it does jam. Note* if you tip the gun forward when cocking back it does jam quite as much. Included in this package is 1 gun, 30 balls and 1 pair of safety glasses.This gun does shoot harder than the previous models, and appears to have a set up like a paintball gun. The CONs of this gun are: that it Shoots hard so not for younger or immature kids, the refill balls are a bit expensive as easily as they get lost. (they bounce and poof gone), not automatic, needs manual pull back for shooting. All in all a great gun for older teens and adults. Absolutely not for younger kids. And I would suggest everyone wear eye protection. Much cleaner and not as painful as a paintball gun so a great alternative.  

For older responsible kids... AND SUPER FUN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my kids to try out and wow this gun has some serious power. The small rubbery balls shoot out very fast and go at least 30 feet. My kids had alot of fun shooting things with this nerf gun. Reloading is fast and easy and having a backup cartridge of ammo keeps the fun going. I like that the balls are a bright florescent yellow so that you can easily find them to reload. I would recommend this gun, Nerf quality is the best compared to other kinds of play shooting guns and my kids prefer Nerf over the others.

Powerful and fun for the kids

It would have been better if it was automatic, same goes for reloading it but I honestly have no complaints because we had such a good time!

it did not work really well. pulling it back before shooting was unexpected.
