I bought it online I checked everywhere only Walmart gave me a great price to my surprise it's actually better than I expected.

Great Product

I spearhead NERF activities for the church of Christ using various guns from NERF's arsenal, one of which has been the Revonix 360.

Pros:
there really were two great features that sold the gun to me for my purposes. The gun truly does have an amped up trigger mechanism for stronger farther firing than those others in the vortex line. After having played with the Revonix 360 for 3 hours, I was genuinely surprised once I picked up and fielded my other vortex guns (the Lumitron and pyragon). Their trigger suddenly felt wimpy and the firing distance and speed seemed chinsy. Of course I had never noticed this before I had played with the Revonix 360. I really did hate to go back to the other guns in the fleet once I had felt the power of the Revonix 360.

However, the most flattering perk of the gun for my use is the steady feed slot on both sides of the disc drum. while some of you may be thinking, "It's great that the gun holds 30 discs," but let me say that everybody runs out of ammunition sooner or later, and its that time between loading that leaves you exposed. This gun minimizes or even dispels this vulnerable point in battle altogether! Currently exclusive to this vortex is how you can keep feeding it discs without having to first stop, then discharge a magazine, hope you have enough time to pump it full of discs (I'd hate to think of how long it takes to fill the pyragon--even though I love that gun for other purposes) and finally reinsert the mag all before you get shot on the field. Instead, with the Revonix 360 you can continually feed it discs so you never run out and never have to be caught "with your pants down" so to speak.

I like that it added an unjamming slide door for taking care of those jams (though I never have had to use it). in fact, the whole vortex line seems to load its ammunition without a hiccup compared to the dart guns. Yet with the games I organize, I have had a six year old child figure a way to pack and jam a disc ina lumitron to the point that I needed thirty minutes with a coat hanger to rip out and dislodge the disc from the throat of the gun... this could have been easily avoided with a slide door like the Revonix has.

One last plus is the slam fire for faster firing. However, it is NOT has fast of a slam fire as the Pyragon which can spit out discs as fast as lightning. Yet the Revonix 360 is certainly faster than the lumitron or praxis. Slam fire is a plus, don't let me detour you, it's just not as fast as the pyragon.

somewhere inbetween pro and con is the fact that the width of this guns barrel is extremely BEEFY. I own some Nitrons, but the Revonix 360 has these fully automatic guns beat in the size of its barrel. Personally I love how sturdy and battle-ready this gun looks, feels, and simply is. but for younger kids tooling around the house under that suggested age 8 on the box, it probably will be a bit bulky and tiresome for them to use.

CONS:
well, if you have watched any reviews on youtube, you'll see a common theme: the slam fire pump action of this gun is grossly clunky. When you load a disc into the chamber by the pump action of the forward grab-bar, it feels like you are shredding the plastic parts inside of the gun. It is disturbing and feels similar to feeding brush into a Bushhog as it yanks and chews tree limbs into mulch. Of course, the reason for this "wood chopper" feel is that the gun has to perform a tricky realignment of the firing disc. It has to take a vertical disc from the drum and transpose its position into a horizontal firing barrel. You can actually see all the mechanisms at work if you hold open the slide door as you load your weapon. I initially had great fear as to how well the Revonix 360 would hold up under the abuse and maltreatment from church members of various ages. Having said that, and having played with the gun myself for several church games, I do feel secure that I had a false sense of worry. Nerf has put this gun together well.

Although the Revonix 360 seems to handle rough treatment well, the praxis and lumitron have less moving parts to breakdown. and less parts is usually a good formula for better durability. But the Revonix certainly is a beefed up version of the vortex line. Every pump I make and shot that flies through the air even FEELS like I am handing a mightier weapon. I love it!

Stronger, Farther, Faster Vortex

Wal-Mart delivered this toy faster then expected and not only does it work great, but my son loves it. He has hardly set it down in 4 days. Works well in every way.

Vast improvement compared to Nerf dart guns.

Pros: Incredible range- 70-90FT!
          
          VERY accurate, haven't missed a shot yet!

          Very easy to reload

          Slam Fire- I've gotten it to shoot off about 5 discs a second

          Looks intimidating- No one will want to mess with you! Plus, you'll love how big             and awesome it looks.

          Because it fires discs, you can shoot them where they can't shoot you! (Hide               behind a corner- ricochet the disc off a wall or door- nail them in the back!)

          
Cons: Bit pricey, get it on sale
         
           Kinda loud when loading the next disc, but it fires quietly. Make sure you load                way before you start sneaking up on people!  
          

Awesome Gun

This is a great gun.. disc guns are more dependable than dart guns in my opinion.

My boys received these for Christmas and love them! Easy to load, fun to play with.

my boys ages, 9 and 11 really enjoy these guns. every now and then a disc gets jammed, but overall no issues.

Price was just right for tons of fun

After reading other reviews, we decided to purchase (2) for two grandsons (7 & 10 yr old brothers) for Christmas; they are having a blast zipping the discs across the room. Gramma & Papa are heroes tonight!! LoL
