This is the best Modem/Router Combo I ever used! The beauty of this router is incorporation of Wi Fi 6. My W Fi speed reaches up to 90% of the Ethernet connection. The unit is quite stable on the flat surface and runs cool. NETGEAR has done a marvelous job in making this wonderful Combo!

Blazing CAX30

Bought this to upgrade from my AC1900 and let me tell you it is well worth the money! My WiFi connection is faster, gaming is better and just all around a great modem/router. I have a stronger signal all throughout my house. Couldn't recommend this enough.

Upgrade!

I have used Century Link for the past 9 years and was not happy. I had a close friend suggest I buy a Netgear Nighthawk AX2700  WIFi Cable Modem Router (CAX30). Now that I have owned the Nighthawk I am extremely pleased with the product. The product does exactly what it says it will do, and the design of the product is really cool. I have suggested this product to several friends of mine who do Not own a Nighthawk. They have in the past week purchased one for themselves for and love it. I will continue to share with people that they need to purchase a Nighthawk, because it will change your life for the better.

Perfect review

It hadn't been that long since my last upgrade for a cable router but my old one was logging off all of my ring cams garage cam and electronic door locks. I have a short term rental and it's most important to have remote access consistently to my home. Wow. So impressed. No issues. Easy to set up. (Don't forget you have to sync or register your new router with your cable co) and I can reboot and change everything via the app. It's fast. It's a little costly but well worth it. So worth it I bought on for my home as well.

Great product!

I was dealing with months of issues with my Xfinity modem/router constantly dropping 12 to 14 times a day for 30 seconds to 8 minutes. After changing out the Xfinity modem router 3x for new ones, I broke down and bought the Nighthawk. It was the easiest setup, and within minutes of completion, my Wi-Fi speed increased by 4x. There have been no drops or issues since installation. I love it!

Nighthawk saves the day

We use Spectrum and we replaced their modem and an older Netgear router with the AX2700.   The change over was quick and easy. We have several components that need internet connection. The AX2700 seems to handle all of them with good speed. So far I would give it a thumbs up with a 10 rating.

Thumbs up - Whole house Internet

So glad I upgraded to this router. It was easy to install and setup was easy also via the Nighthawk app. I have a 1 gig internet package and my speeds are averaging 1200 mbps. I highly recommend this router if you are on the market for a new Nighthawk.

Cax30 Nighthawk router modem combo

We use Spectrum and we replaced their modem and a older Netgear router with the AX2700.   The change over was quick and easy. We have several components that need internet connection. The AX2700 seems to handle all of them with good speed. So far I would give it a thumbs up with a 10 rating.

It started when I realized that the QR Code gave an invalid reference.  This thing has dropped config, dropped internet service, dropped connected devices repeatedly.  Their App won't connect to the hardware, and keeps insisting that I need to reconnect with a new system setup.  Oh, and for goodness sakes DON'T turn off the “router” function as it will self destruct!  Took me an hour to get it back.  Why they would even have a “self destruct” radio button is beyond me.  The only nice thing I can say is that it does reliably keep connection to my ISP.  My 25 years of IT experience says run away from this garbage equipment!  You'll be spending way more time than you need to on it.

Garbage

Working from home like many of us and dealing with Gb size file for work, I decided to upgrade to Xfinity 1.2Gb package. I had a C6300 so I upgraded to this to be able to take advantage of the upgraded through put.   I also have some 30+ devices in my home and use Mac Filtering.

Installation experience:
•	Turned off C6300 so as to not add any network conflicts
•	Configured Lan with same IP Scheme as the C6300
•	Named the WIFI SSID's the same as the C6300 
•	Turned on access control and added the MAC addresses of the devices. 
•	Attempted to use the same passwords from the wireless Networks of the C6300 

Here are results and feedback from my installation experience:
•	Web page setup is horrific!!  Slow and extremely unresponsive
•	CAX30 would not accept the passwords (25 Random Characters)
•	Had to create new passwords for my Wireless networks
•	Manually added WIFI devices, but when attempting to connect the devices, would get password errors and the devices would not connect (even did device factory reset on several of the devices)

Performance (Connected via Cat6 W/ Gb NIC & one Gb switch in line) :
•	Day One, getting 685Mbps download, 
•	Day Two, getting 485Mbps download
•	Day Three, getting 61Mbps.  
•	Spend hours on the line with Xfinity who determined it was my Modem
•	Put my old C6300 back online and I am back to getting 485Mbps through same connection.

I plan on doing a factory reset tonight and will give another try, but so far, very dissatisfied and I have been a fan of Netgear for many years
