I'm getting a little too "old" to be dragging my butt off the cold ground during our fall campouts.  This cot seems to work perfect.  Lots of people complained about how difficult it was to put together, so I ordered early and strong armed it together to let my boys sleep on it a couple nights and loosen the fabric.  Easy set up, easy put away, I'm lovin' it.

Cot is built like a tank, its not light ( I would not carry it more then a few miles ) but it is very sturdy, and comfortable. I ordered this for use in an office when not on duty / or when I am stuck on 24 hour shifts and there's some down time. It fits my needs perfectly. Sets up in under a minute holds my weight fine (200Lb) and folds small enough to leave in the corner under my desk. seems to be holding up well, no rips ect. Only comment is that it takes some effort to pull the cloth tight with the 2 loose bars that form the ends. May cause issue for some. - We liked the cot enough that we purchased 2 for use at our building for general use and they have lasted a month so far w/ no viable ware (we have broke rather robust recliners in a week's time so that's the best review really)

Cot is built like a tank.

I bought this because I had a grandmother visting for a week and find my couch too short for comfortable sleeping and recliners to be an unnatural sleeping position. This cot eliminated the neck pain associated with sleeping on a couch arm so it's a huge improvement if you can't afford or store even a twin size guest bed. It might be a bit firm for some people but you can always pad it if that's your preference.

First, let's get it out of the way: this product is ridiculously difficult to assemble for the first use. The canvas stretches incredibly tight and you're quite likely to pinch a finger or two trying to get it to lock into place. However, after 1-2 uses, it'll stretch enough that it's snug but doable without too much difficulty.

Once you get it assembled it is a perfectly functional but very firm bed. If you need a softer surface, buy a twin size foam mattress topper and cut it down to size.

Great cot.  I have looked for military cots and have found new ones but for the price, could never get my self to buy it.  This is exactly like what I had when I was in the Marines (2007 to 2017).  It folds up to a compact size, is the durable nylon material, and has a nice transporting bag.   What makes this slightly better than the military ones, the end poles (used to stretch the cot tight) are slightly longer on one end to help you get leverage to pull it.   The military cots were such a pain to achieve this that we often only ever used one end pole, but this one I can set up fairly easily.   It's also very sturdy and after using it several times, seems like it will hold up very well over time.  I would recommend this for any camper, or any one needing a spare cot for a guest.

Comparable to my much more expensive Cabella cot. Side bar extremely difficult to get into place until I watch a you tube video. The trick was to stand the cot on the side and use your foot for leverage, after watching video my 13yo daughter could put it together by herself easy peasy. Comfortable with no icky middle bar in your back

Bought these cots for a deer hunt to keep us off the ground, some reviews describe the cots as heavy, they are a bit heavy but totally manageable. all of the hunters in our party were over 200 lbs and we all slept comfortably with plenty of room to turn from side to side. We put in rough miles and came back exhausted and the cots were  comfortable allowing us to rest up for the next day.  The cots look well made and time will tell how well they will  hold up.the feet on these cots are heavy duty as well plan on placing carpet between the feet and tent floor so you do not damage the tent. I plan on purchasing  several more for our New Mexico cabin and as back up beds for guests...at this sale price you cant go wrong.

worth every cent

This is a strong camp cot & I expect years of service from it. On 2 counts it would have helped to have clearer information - size & setup. The bed size is 73" x 28" inside the rods & 75" x 30" including the rods (then the end rods stick out to give a 34" width). No adequate set-up instructions came with it, & it is initially very hard to stretch the fabric to get the rods over the frame. Some suggestions: put it in the sun for awhile, soak it with water, sit on the ground & use your feet as well as your arms.

Excellent product but information is skimpy

This cot is very durable, and can hold a considerable weight. It packs very slim into a carrying case which comes with the cot. Easy to set-up, with some muscle required to pull the taunt bar in place the first few set-ups. We are replacing air mattresses (which never seem to last more than a year) with these cots for camping and extra company at home. We layer a sleeping bag and a down comforter as a "sleeping mat" on the cots. Great buy, especially for the price!

Sturdy, compact-to-carry

I got this for a place to sleep while visiting my children houses and it has been very good it's very sturdy. I had to add some padding one side bottom because I'm tall and my legs hanging over the metal bars are a little uncomfortable but for someone shorter than 6 foot two would enjoy sleeping on it.  Overall I would highly recommend this cot.

This cot is great

nice cot I will be using for deer camp for a few days at a time.  Put together easy ,laid on it and used one night to sleep on, put it away until October. I have a different brand that is much heavier and about the same comfort level so this one is way lighter that's a bonus .

Good luck trying to set this thing up, the fabric is about a 1/2 shorter than what it should be. I tried with all my strength to put it together and I'm a strong guy! You will rip the fabric trying to put it together
