Received recently and used once at time of review. So far so good. Out of the box it it is as advertised. I like the width a lot, makes it more comfortable. It is "challenging" (takes some strength) to get the 2nd crossbar in place. Perhaps over time that will decrease if the material stretches some. Should it hold up over time I feel it is a very good value.

This cot is very durable, and can hold a considerable weight. It packs very slim into a carrying case which comes with the cot. Easy to set-up, with some muscle required to pull the taunt bar in place the first few set-ups. We are replacing air mattresses (which never seem to last more than a year) with these cots for camping and extra company at home. We layer a sleeping bag and a down comforter as a "sleeping mat" on the cots. Great buy, especially for the price!

I've already read the other reviews on this cot being pinchy with the fingers, but this cot has too much value in affordability and sturdiness to quickly pass up.  One trick I've found is to stand the cot up on end when you're trying to get the last bar in place. Place one foot on the bottom hinge, then shoulder press that sucker up and into the last slot. This will keep your fingers out of the way. See photo.

Great durability; hasn't weakened at all  -- despite being also used as a chair for hours. No sag after days of usage.

This cot is very heavy steel; I would much prefer a lighter aluminum/wooden frame were I hiking up a mountain to camp. But, for temporary bedding around the house for extra guests over the holidays, this cant be beaten for the affordability.

Heavy, Sturdy, & Tricky, but Great $30 Value.

Comparable to my much more expensive Cabella cot. Side bar extremely difficult to get into place until I watch a you tube video. The trick was to stand the cot on the side and use your foot for leverage, after watching video my 13yo daughter could put it together by herself easy peasy. Comfortable with no icky middle bar in your back

Bought these cots for a deer hunt to keep us off the ground, some reviews describe the cots as heavy, they are a bit heavy but totally manageable. all of the hunters in our party were over 200 lbs and we all slept comfortably with plenty of room to turn from side to side. We put in rough miles and came back exhausted and the cots were  comfortable allowing us to rest up for the next day.  The cots look well made and time will tell how well they will  hold up.the feet on these cots are heavy duty as well plan on placing carpet between the feet and tent floor so you do not damage the tent. I plan on purchasing  several more for our New Mexico cabin and as back up beds for guests...at this sale price you cant go wrong.

worth every cent

Cot is built like a tank, its not light ( I would not carry it more then a few miles ) but it is very sturdy, and comfortable. I ordered this for use in an office when not on duty / or when I am stuck on 24 hour shifts and there's some down time. It fits my needs perfectly. Sets up in under a minute holds my weight fine (200Lb) and folds small enough to leave in the corner under my desk. seems to be holding up well, no rips ect. Only comment is that it takes some effort to pull the cloth tight with the 2 loose bars that form the ends. May cause issue for some. - We liked the cot enough that we purchased 2 for use at our building for general use and they have lasted a month so far w/ no viable ware (we have broke rather robust recliners in a week's time so that's the best review really)

Cot is built like a tank.

Great cot.  I have looked for military cots and have found new ones but for the price, could never get my self to buy it.  This is exactly like what I had when I was in the Marines (2007 to 2017).  It folds up to a compact size, is the durable nylon material, and has a nice transporting bag.   What makes this slightly better than the military ones, the end poles (used to stretch the cot tight) are slightly longer on one end to help you get leverage to pull it.   The military cots were such a pain to achieve this that we often only ever used one end pole, but this one I can set up fairly easily.   It's also very sturdy and after using it several times, seems like it will hold up very well over time.  I would recommend this for any camper, or any one needing a spare cot for a guest.

AWESOME! Exactly what i was looking for

The cot arrived quickly. I unpacked it and began putting it together immediately. I had an idea on how to set it up because I had done research on Youtube ahead of time. It a tad heavy but very sturdy, well built, nice size, quality made. I weigh around 220 lbs and it had no problem supporting my weight. I set it up and slept in it that same night. It's roomy and you could sleep both right side up or upside down. Putting in the last crossbar for assembly was challenging but research how to do it on Youtube. It's as easy as using a simple lever.

Awesome car camping cot

You must use all your strength to put the safety end bars (that keeps the cot aligned and not prone to collapse)in place. I could get the end that has the Coleman logo together, but the end where I have my feet I can get one side on but not the other. I sweated like HECK! to get the ends together. I gave up on the feet end and just use a bungee cord on that one side I couldn't get. I bought a king size Mainstay comforter, fold it once, and sleep on top of it to make this cot feel more comfy. It's very durable from what I can tell so far and is comfy enough to sleep on every night. Another reason I gave this a 4 star is because I have like a slit/cut on the carrying bag. I just don't like the idea of buying anything that's suppose to be brand new with that sort of flaw to it. Other than those 2 semi-problems I recommend this product.

That last part...

Buyer beware! False advertisement on the width at 35 inches when the sleeping area is only 30 inches. 

“I purchased this because the listing advertised a 35-inch-wide cot. The actual sleeping surface measures only about 30 inches. The remaining width is the metal frame, which is not usable for sleeping. I was specifically looking for an oversized/XXL cot, so this item does not meet my expectations based on the listing.”
