The Nexen Roadian HTX2 is a SUV and light truck ALL-WEATHER, RAC Mountain Snowflake certificated tire . This means you can rely on it even during harsh Canadian winter conditions. The tire delivers long-mileage on highways, with progressive cornering, maximum load durability and precise handling thanks to the rigid interlocking shoulder tread blocks. The well-balanced and multiple sipes (cuts in the tread blocks) improve snow traction and off-road performance. Noise reduction is handled by the five-pitch tread block variation, which is also optimized for improved durability and a larger contact patch. The four wide circumferential grooves offer excellent water evacuation from under the tread, and reduces the risk of hydroplaning.

I put these tires on my brother's 2015 Honda Pilot.  He does mostly in-town driving and was in a pinch financially, so I figured I'd give these a shot.  Nexen is a South Korean company that's been in business making tires for nearly 100 years, so I trusted that they know what they're doing.  The sidewalls say "Made in Korea" which is a good sign in my opinion because when products are designed and manufacture red in the same place, it becomes a lot easier to manage quality control.  Durability remains to be seen because they've only been on the car for a month or two at this point, but they balanced nicely and ride great!  Having the 3-peak mountain snowflake rating is a great bonus too!  If my brother gives a good report in a year or so, I may mount a set on my Tahoe.
