The Nexen Roadian HTX2 is a SUV and light truck ALL-WEATHER, RAC Mountain Snowflake certificated tire . This means you can rely on it even during harsh Canadian winter conditions. The tire delivers long-mileage on highways, with progressive cornering, maximum load durability and precise handling thanks to the rigid interlocking shoulder tread blocks. The well-balanced and multiple sipes (cuts in the tread blocks) improve snow traction and off-road performance. Noise reduction is handled by the five-pitch tread block variation, which is also optimized for improved durability and a larger contact patch. The four wide circumferential grooves offer excellent water evacuation from under the tread, and reduces the risk of hydroplaning.

Have not installed them (all 4 tires) yet and will see if the quality and durability holds up; reason for the overall 4 rating.  Otherwise, since Ram is installing them on new 1 ton 3500's, I am thinking they would be even better on the 3/4 ton 2500.

Good economical tire for highway use.
