Since one remote comes with the Wii game, everyone should know what to expect with the purchase of the second. Although Nintendo should include two remotes with the console. Those who give this product a low rating because it "doesn't work" did not go through the steps of synchronizing the remote. It's a simple process that can be found at the following:

The wii opens up a variety of new options and fun! this remote makes gaming a whole lot more sophisticated and great for having friends. Pretty expensive for kids, though. Saving up to $40 may take a while.

I recently purchased a Wii Remote from this seller, and I couldn't be more disappointed. The first thing I noticed was all the scratches all over the remote, it looked like it had been thrown into the wall several times.

That wasn't even the worst part. The remote was also covered in grime and filth. It looked like it had been through years of sweat, dirt and Cheeto dust before being carelessly packaged and shipped off to me. 

Save yourself the trouble and avoid purchasing anything from this seller. They clearly have no regard for quality control or customer satisfaction. I immediately returned it before I even left the parking lot.

Don't buy, disgusting and a waste of time

Purchase of a Wii controller for $41. I received a used, dirty controller and I had to scratch the pole that receives the battery because there was gray green. Very bad purchase because not compliant.

Malhonnête Company

Nintendo wii remote is not manufactured by Nintendo as it is a knock off but is advertised indicating Brand as Nintendo in description.   Also does not indicate wii on the remote.    Not sure how this is actually legal in Canada as it is a false claim on a reputable website such as Walmart.

Nintendo Wii remote review

DO NOT BUY if you are looking for the original Wii remote.  These are knock offs.  The photo when you order, shows an actual Wii remote, with the Wii name on the bottom of the remote.  The ones I received (2) do not have the Wii on the front or even the "Nintendo" that the actual remotes have on the back.  The description even says "NINTENDO REMOTE", but it isn't.  It's A remote for the Nintendo system.  NOT THE SAME THING.  Very misleading and potentially illegal.  NOT happy
