Quality product for our large breed dog. I feel we are both visible when he wears his safety necklace during night time walks. It is simple to change the batteries and the batteries required are available at our $Store. Sometimes I put the necklace through the handle of his harness because his long fur covers the necklace.

We find these collars unbeleivably reliable and extremely useful! Our first astonishing discovery was that we could cut them down to fit! We have two blind but very able smaller dogs. They have a dog door and like to maintain their independence. Our yard is large and until we discovered the collars we had to stay with each dog when they went out. Now they can totally function independently and we can follow their movements all over our huge yard with the circle of bright light around their necks! It has been a great relief for us in letting them be dogs! Thank you!

Our Scottish Terrier is black. We walk her at night here in Florida after it cools down. Despite wearing reflective gear ourselves, we were worried about anyone driving seeing her. This 'ring of light' makes her very visible. It is perfect; lightweight, very bright, and even blinks. NO one can miss seeing here at all. We've had several people ask, "Where did you get it?" These LED collars were the reason that my dogs and I are alive today. My eldest dog is blind and deaf and had wandered into the busy intersection when her leash got tangled. My other dog went after her and the traffic stopped when they saw their blinking collars. I was able to gather them to the sidewalk safely and no one got hurt, let alone hit by a car. These LED Collars saved our lives.

we got this collar awhile ago and have used it just about every night when taking my dog out.

the quality of the collar itself is very nice and I love that you can cut the length to your desired size depending on your dog's neck.

since purchasing the collar, it has not failed us yet! it is extremely easy to use and I love the smart design of the collar.
there are two settings for the light, one solid light, and one blinking light, and to turn it off is just as easy.

sleek, simple, and well-made for anyone looking for a glow collar, the only downside is it doesn't have a D-ring to attach a leash to. even with the collar's "limitation", it's never hindered our use!

My two little Yorkies (5# & 7#) wouldn't do much exploring after dark.  ~7+ years ago, I clipped Pet-Ize on their harnesses and off they went (no leashes.)  To this day, their little hemi-spherical glows seems to light all the world they need (and are very amusing to us all :))

Now at 16+ yrs, my oldest loses track of me, so just a few nights ago I wrapped a blue NiteHowl around my ankle.  She had it figured out in 5 minutes - so more adventures await.

Both products are great.  Original pink Pet-Izes still work w/o issue, but new clears offer more illumination. Batteries have never been an issue of any kind.  I also use a variety of S-Biners (leash attachment, my keys, etc., and love them too.)

My Nite Ize Dogs

It's a great product, well made and makes my dog very visible after dark. My only complaint is that the collar doesn't hold it color for very long. I understand there is a model with a rechargeable battery, which I plan to check out.

Worked OK for a bit with the original batteries during the warmer months but once cooler fall weather showed up the light output dimmed considerably and in cold winter weather it can barely manage 5 min before dying completely. Tried replacing the batteries with different brands and types but if anything it worked even worse. Might not be a big issue to folks in warmer climates but definitely cant handle Montana weather.
