Nivea shave gel is of good quality and foams up to a super rich lather. I tried Aveeno once when the Nivea was out of stock and it's nowhere near as good. It didn't foam up much at all. 
You can use far less of the Nivea due to it foaming so well.

Make sure your face is wet before app. After use put the cap on or it will continue to dispense. Good product and I like their after shave also. Enjoy! Dollar shave club is where I buy razors.

Don't throw away the cap!

Very smooth on the face and a little goes a long way. I have no skin problems with this shave cream as I did with the cheaper ones. This was also recommended by my dermatologist.

Smooth shavings

I'd say use it once, and try it yourself.  I was not much of a believer. But, now that I use the product, I'd say hands one of the best for the price that you pay.

I have been using this product for a long time, but this last can was different it is not as creamy as before it more of a foam which I don't care for

hopefully i can come back and review after more use. Okay, doesnt seem as substantial as when i used in past, or maybe i need to use more. The one I purchased was advertised as having Witch Hazel, BUT it is nowhere in the ingredients.  Maybe a WM issue.

After over 20 years of using a product I am disappointed in NIVEA for changing the formula of this shave gel. The scent sucks and it is not as slick as it used to be. I am switching to something else. If you want REAL nivea you'll have to search elsewhere

It's different than it used to be

Another prime example of a company not having the ability to leave well enough alone.  I've used this for 10  years and never had an issue until now.  Might as well buy the cheapest shaving cream you can find and it will probably be on par with this "improved " formula.   Reslly tired of companies changing products
