I feel likr most of the reviews that state this car will not turn on are not putting all the batteries in. The Sonic one is obvious where you put the batteries but for Knuckles, you have to remove the whole battery holder and you'll find a spot hidden behind for 2 additional batteries. I also missed this at first so I can see why others missed it. It's unfortunate because it's a great little toy. It's a bit too fast for my 4 year old to handle (I know it says ages 6 ) but we're still  enjoying it :)

no antenna on the controller. pictures on box show one. doesn't work than 3 feet. probably because of lost antenna. otherwise cool toy

Won't even start up despite trouble shooting all options. And no word from customer service. Battery ribbon wasn't connected so thinking this was part of the issue
