This mattress is comprised of a patented pressure balance latex top layer with a soy medi-foam base. The soy medi-foam base neutralizes the off-gassing smell that irritates the patient as well as reducing heat retention which is the largest complaint from other products. I have moderate scoliosis and I've bought so many mattresses in the past 10 years. All other mattresses sunken after a few months ,but not this one. We've had it for over 2 years now and it's still the same as day one. I called the manufacturer customer service line directly to get advice on which one to buy and Shawn was so amazing and helpful. This company makes mattresses for hospitals and they used that technology to make these mattresses as well. We're very happy with our purchase.

Amazing Mattress for my back pain

I bought a Queen Size Pressure Balance Latex Mattress a month ago. I am very impressed with the quality and how easy it was to set up. My husband said it is better than the mattress we last had. I love that my husband does not wake when I get out of bed during the night. I was told there was no odor from off gassing and there wasn't. I would recommend this mattress to everyone and when we need another I will buy this again.

Great sleep.

I've been sleeping on my new NSC Medical Pressure Balance Latex Mattress for four months. I decided to take a chance on this mattress after many hours of research and after contacting their customer service (very helpful and knowledgeable). It was delivered in a box, rolled up and vacuum sealed. There was no odor from the mattress, and it regained it's original form without any issues. Not only does it look and feel like a high quality product, but it has made a noticeable difference to my health. I was so impressed that I recently purchased another one as a gift!

Very comfortable mattress

We bought this 3 weeks ago and it has been unbelievable. We are stunned at how great this bed is. Have had trouble sleeping for the last 40 years, Sleep so sound on this mattress, I rarely move. It says medium firm in the description, and it is just that. If you sit on the edge, it is soft, there is no wire edge such as you would find in a regular mattress, but once you lay down, it feels firm. Not hard like some others have stated. I'm 6 ft 190 pds. We are kind of shocked at how we feel in the morning, like we are dreaming, this can't be real. Forty years of poor sleep and this is unreal. My wife and I didn't even comment on the our thought about the mattress for a week, just didn't know what to say. Hated going to bed. Now I'm not happy to leave the bed in the morning. Try it out, everyone is different, but it works great for us.

Truly amazing sleeps

I bought this mattress because I have severe chronic illness and spend about 3/4 of my day in bed. This mattress is so comfortable and supportive. Since my illness I haven't been able to sleep well and with this mattress, I am able to get a good nights rest.

I would also like to mention that the customer service from this company is exceptional. Definitely will use them again.

We bought this mattress back in July, 2019. My back was hurting with our previous gel mattress and I wanted to try a latex, firmer one. We ordered NSC medical pressure balance Latex mattress because of the many good reviews and because it is made from organic material. My husband and I just loved it. My lower back does not hurt any more in the morning. Today, I just ordered a second mattress, a king size, from this company, that how much we like NSC mattresses!

I have slept on my first latex mattress for 4 nights now and I am already seeing a reduction in my back pain. I bought the  firm version and put a polyester fiber mattress topper on. It's so comfortable. The mattress is very different than a coil mattress it has good support while at the same time maintaining a cushy feel. I have tried so many mattresses & had all but given up hope. This one is amazing.I'm so happy!!

I had been looking for a new mattress to replace the one I had used throughout school and needed something firm and supportive for a previous back injury. I had originally tried one of the foam mattresses-in-a-box (admittedly falling for their marketing) but within one month, was experiencing some of the worst back pain I've ever had. I quickly returned that mattress and did some research into latex mattresses like those from NSC. It has completely transformed my quality of sleep where I now wake up feeling refreshed and pain free. The edge of the mattress does tend to sink quite a bit when sitting on it, so one minor suggestion would be to increase the support along the edges for its construction. Otherwise, this has been one of the best investments I've made towards my health and well-being.

I can't say enough about this company. A couple of years ago I was having terrible back pain and had tried 6 different beds and still had to sleep on the ground to get any kind of relief. Then I tried the NSC pressure relief bed and it was amazing. You have to remember to give it the first two weeks to settle before making a decision about it, at first the one I chose felt too firm but after it settled in two weeks it was perfect and instantly had relief from my back pain. Just recently I started to have the pain again, and again I found myself sleeping on the floor, I noticed the bed was sagging a little and I decided to write to the company honestly not expecting anything to be done. I was shocked within an hour and a half I received a phone call from their office stating that they got my email and wanted me to be able to sleep in my bed and were concerned as to why the bed had a sag as they never usually get complaints regarding their beds. They were sending me a new bed and going to take my current one back to "dissect it" and see what went wrong. I was shocked, they sent me a new mattress and immediately that night I was off of the floor and sleeping like a baby again. Their beds are amazing but their customer service was the best I'd ever encountered. I was nervous with buying a bed from this company at first as it is not a very well known company but they stand behind their product more then any other bed company out there. I hear it could usually be a nightmare dealing with mattress companies but not this one. They get 5 stars all the way around, and I am so thankful to them for making sure I could sleep comfortably again.

We originally bought the medium queen size latex mattress and it was good, but we felt we needed it to be a little more firm. Customer service was very helpful and we were able to arrange for pick up of the mattress and ordered the medium firm one. We've been sleeping on it for about 1 year and we really enjoy it. No more back pain. You don't really feel the other person  tossing in bed. It didn't have any plastic smell when you first open it. It was a little too firm initially, but after letting the bed fully expand and settle in shape (about 2 weeks) it's just perfect.
