The NYX Marshmallow Primer has become one of my favorite steps in my makeup routine. It feels incredibly soft and lightweight on my skin, giving a smooth, hydrated base that makes my foundation go on effortlessly. the package of the primer is so cute if your a pink girly 💕 the scent does smell like marshmallows and the texture is soft and feels like it will stick on really good the price i would say it’s okay but maybe price it down a little , it effectiveness is perfect. Go buy!!

Great primer!

I use the NYX Marshmallow Primer every single day before my Hydro Touch Oil Primer, and the combo is perfection. This one smooths everything out, blurs my pores, and smells so good without being overpowering. It gives my skin that soft, velvety base that makes my makeup look flawless all day. I seriously can’t start my routine without it.

My Perfect Primer Duo Starter

I really wanted to love the Marshmellow Primer because everyone was raving about it, but honestly… it just didn’t work for me. The texture is nice and fluffy at first, but once it’s on the skin it felt a bit too creamy and didn’t really give me that smooth, blurred finish I expected.

It also didn’t help much with longevity — my makeup started breaking apart faster than usual, especially around the T-zone. And instead of smoothing, it almost made my pores look more noticeable by mid-day.

The scent is sweet (marshmallow-ish), which some people may like, but for me it was a little too strong for something that goes all over the face.

Overall, I wouldn’t repurchase. It’s cute, it’s trendy, but it didn’t deliver what my skin needs in a primer. Just not my match. 💗

Not for Me… and Here’s Why

The only reason that I didn’t give this product a 5/5 is because it is a bit more than I would like to pay. The product does sit nice though and does help keep your makeup in place. I use this product constantly. It feels a bit like moisturizer when it comes out of the bottle and takes a second to rub into the skin but it has a nice finish and has never irritated my skin. It lasts me all day.

Works well. My favorite primer.

I had high hopes for this primer. It's pink, it's marshmallowy, it smells amazing!

Unfortunately, I was totally let down, and it's probably not you primer, it's me. 

I have oily skin, so finding any primer that doesn't end my day with my face as an oily disaster is like trying to find the fountain of youth, or El Dorado. 

This goes on so smoothly. It initially does make my makeup look flawless and it does smell so good. Unfortunately, I end up so oily every time I use it. Such a bummer!

I think if you're not oily prone, this could be a gem for you.

High Hopes Dashed.

I haven’t used the primer yet, but it was obviously opened before I received it. The seal sticker was removed and put back on a different part of the bottle. The lid has traces of the product on it. 

At first I thought Walmart   would be a great idea because I work, go to school, have a toddler, and a new born. But, if this is the quality of the items I’m going to be receiving I think I’m ready to cancel my subscription.
