The blades are super sharp and slices things with no issues. The design on the blade is extremely nice. Solid wood block that is see through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3 piece knife set includes a gorgeous Chef knife, Santoku knife, and a paring knife made from Damascus steel. They are absolutely stunning. They are also very sharp. I love handles. The knife and handle is all one piece of steel. These knives are very functional and with the proper care, I believe they will last you a lifetime. This set also includes the most unique knife block, I have ever seen. It is a wooden block that has clear acrylic sides, therefore showing off the beauty of these knives when they aren't in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of knives is fantastic to say the least. Damascus is beautiful, blade sharp and knife is overall very lightweight. The pattern on the blade is very subtle and murky trailing into a shiny steel at the blade edge. Blades are very sharp straight out of the box! Follow the cutting instructions and you will not be disappointed. The fully integrated handle is dimpled and very comfortable in the hand. The one-piece design of these knives is surprisingly lightweight. I would have thought that the full integration would mean a meatier heavier handle but this is definitely not the case with these. The block is GORGEOUS and unique. A medium colored wood with clear acrylic sides to allow for an attractive display piece that is also highly functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These beautiful Damascus style kitchen knives are the sharpest I've ever owned (almost too sharp! be careful!) The block has a cool see through cutout feature. The knives seem very durable and have held their edges perfectly through many uses.

I do all the cooking in the house and I always need good knife that's extra sharp and this seems to be right when I'm looking for. They are very lightweight but that really kind of helps when you're having all the vegetables. The instructions say to hand dry it and wipe moisture off of it so I would recommend that.
