I was unsure what to expect from a sheer lipstick, but this is gorgeous. I got Dolce Vita and the shade matches Orgasm blush very well. The sheer formulation applies the color in a way that has a silky sparkle to it, looking almost like lip gloss. Basically, you get the lush dimensional look of lip gloss without any stickiness or unwelcome transfer. It's a great price for a high end product!

I only wear two brands of lipstick, Dior and NARS... Something about the way NARS lipsticks are formulated is magical. Beautiful colors, lasts long, and perfection in either matte or gloss... I love NARS lip makeup!

I love this lipstick because one swipe fills your entire lips. The color stays long even if you've taken your meal with with a bit of oil. I just love the colors, and best of all it is MATTE.

I've worn this lipstick around the house just doing my thing (thanks covid), and somehow I'm almost out already. It makes me feel myself and give me confidence to do my dishes!

Wear it ANYWEAR, especially just sitting at home!

I love Nars because it's so creamy. Most lipsticks are too dry for me, but Nars (not matte colors) is fantastic. But, I wish they would bring back some of my favorite shades. Falbala was my absolute favorite!

It is a very warm-toned, medium-dark copper with a metallic finish that is absolutely gorgeous and in keeping with the NARS aesthetic. I love it because it's so creamy and comfortable to wear. It has a silky, satiny finish with a buildable formula and a lightweight feel. Most lipsticks are too dry for me, but NARS lipsticks never disappoint me. The finish on these is truly amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had no idea the formula of Roman Holiday had changed to SHEER. Been using the original Roman Holiday for years with Sexual Healing Lipstick. Very disappointed. Payoff very slippery. Not great coverage. Completely different although the color is the same.

New Formula No Notice

The formula must have changed. No longer satiny, soft and smooth feeling on your lips with good hydration; and no more great long lasting coverage and vibrant color. Now it's like a hard, sheer lipstick with lack of pigment. Feels almost grainy. Absolutely a bitter disappointment that the best lipstick ever has been ruined! The NARS company has lost their minds. If it's not broken don't fix it. You had a stellar product and now it's junk.
