The Velvet Matte Lip Pencils are a STAPLE in my pro artist kit. I've had them for years. They are quite literally one of my ride or die products. They are ALWAYS the first product I reach for when doing lips and they are perfect for sanitizing and having in the set bag without mess.

Finally a perfect shade of red that works for me! (Dragon Lady) Beautiful pigmentation, and easy to apply. Has great staying power that lasts even after eating and drinking with minimal needs to reapply. Occasional I dabbed on a little bit of lip gloss for a softer look to changed it up from the matte finished look. Will try other colors. Highly recommended it.

Beautiful

This lip pencil is absolute perfection. I've been wearing this color in this pencil form for years and receive compliments every single time I have it on. I am very upset that Nars change the formula to this perfect pencil in matte. The "NEW" pencils that came out this year are HORRID. They dry your lips. The formula is similar to that of their lip glosses. Simply horrible. I do not know why they changed it. If they ever make them like this one again I'll buy. But I'm not buying the new ones.

Loved this

An all time top lip product for me. Glides on smoothly, wears wonderfully well, It can be a bit drying, but not overly so for how matte it really is. Very lightweight on the lips. The lasting power is great, although you will most likely have to touch it up after eating and maybe sometimes after drinking. Cruella is a long time favorite and a go to red for me, but I've recently gotten hooked on Dragon Girl as well!

I love the Train Bleu color. It is my most coveted makeup piece. I pray they never stop making this color. I am a forever buyer.

Dragon Girl NEVER disappoints

I love the color and feel of this pencil. Not sure what happened, but before I even needed to sharpen it, the tip broke way in the pencil. I had to sharpen so much, I feel like I lost half the pencil!

Beautiful but be careful!

I love the glide and coverage with this lip pencil. I was off of what the true color- coral instead of a plum I thought I purchased. The color was not what I thought I wanted but I use it as an undertone and mix with another color. I've always loved this product and will definitely buy again.

This product was okay super overrated super expensive not even as pigmented it should be for $27 I will never buy this product I'm glad it came in a boxy charm it did not meet my expectations....
