First, know this is not a $500 desk.  The desk is usually $160 and is made like a desk that cost $160. It is beautiful and sturdy enough for me.  The desk was on sale for half price, it had some minor paint scratches that no one would really notice.  I love it. The drawer in front is deep and quite large.  The stapler on the desk fits in the drawer with many other items. I forgot to put the stapler away.   It would also make a beautiful vanity.

Very easy to put together- there are only 3 main pieces that you need to screw. It looks sturdy and very classy. Def worth the price.

Unfortunately my desk arrived damaged and I had to contact customer service. The representative was kind and gave me an adjustment to cover the cost to repair since a replacement was not available. I had to purchase wood filler, touch up paint and sandpaper. Be sure to purchase a desk mat/pad because the desk scratches very easily.
