I love this shelf. It's so sophisticated for a great price!  It was quick and easy to put together, instructions were clear and every piece labeled well.
I was missing the center stability leg and customer service went way above and beyond to take care of me and fix the issue super fast.  The shelf really brings my room together to finish off the look.  Rest assured if a piece does happen to be damaged in transit, that Nathan James Furniture really knows how to take care of their customers!

Liked it so much I bought a 2nd one. The instructions to build are cutesy instead of helpful but it was still a pretty quick and easy build. Didnt have issues with cam locks like the other reviewer- its sturdy.

Just bought a 2nd one

The cabinet is just as beautiful as it looked online and it is good quality. The measurements were spot on. The installation was pretty tricky though, you definitely need two people and getting the holes to line up perfectly when putting the pieces together took a lot of finesse and multiple attempts. But ultimately we got it done and it came out great!

I love my new mid-century cubby storage cabinet!  I am using it to display some of my MCM colored glass collection!  Looks great and was super easy to put together!

Sharp Cabinet!

Assembling was tricky due to the hardware “cam” style screws and fasteners, you have to tighten “just right” otherwise the whole thing falls apart or you ruin the engineered wood. It's better to have 2 people do it. It took me near an hour to put it together because i had to retighten the screws. It looks nice once it's finished. The price seemed too high (i paid near $100) and i was not happy to see the sale price of $84 just now.

The storage unit went together quite easily. Except when we got to the back, I had to use some different screws to get it to go deep enough to stay on. I love the look so I would recommend it.

Great little storage unit

Easily scratches, cheap stickers cover the holes and the stickers don't even stick well. Looks ok from afar but cheaply made.

Meh.

The bookcase is defective. The cam lock screws do not tighten, which makes the shelf extremely wobbly and unsecured. The backboards don't fit the way it was supposed to. Don't waste your money. It's garbage.

Poor Quality

Item arrived damaged. I didnt even take more than a few pieces out when I noticed and started repackaging this. I was disappointed because it has sophisticated look in the site photos. However, I could tell that this was a low-quality unit right away. Not worth the wait or risk of receiving another damaged unit. I would not  recommend.

Honestly, its not sturdy. For it being over $100 it shouldnt dance when you place your hand on it. I tightened all of the screws to the point that some broke because of how tight they were and still nothing. Also, mine came with scratches, scuff marks and spotting.
