[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful!  We have enjoyed this all week.  Easy to use and operate, it was extremely easy to assemble and store.   We will use this for years to come.  The grand children have enjoyed it do much.  Totally recommend to our friends and family!

Wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was amazing to see the detail of our moon, like the craters, and what looked like hills or mountainous regions.  It was interesting to see what we believe is Jupiter.  It looked bluish with different light color swirls.  It has been fun to go out on clear nights and look at things.  I gave it 4 stars because it was hard ro set up.

National Geographic Telescope

Excited to get and set up.  Tried several times to use but couldn't even see the full moon through the telescope.  Was clearer and brighter with naked eyes. Returned for refund.  Was so disappointed!

Not as advertised

Doesn't work.  Disappointing Christmas gift to my young nieces and nephew.  Sam's Club and his ridici-scope made Aunty look like a fool.

Merry Christmas?  Maybe not!

This was purchased for a birthday gift, it has been assembled according to packaged instructions. You can't see through it, nothing comes into focus on the darkest or clearest nights.

Could not get it to focus, unable to view anything! Not user friendly! Will be returning it

Don't waste your time/ money

A relative purchased one of these for me at the local Sam's Club store.  It was easy to put together and if you are a child, or beginner, it may be useful.  However, the viewfinder doesn't work at all because it doesn't align with the telescope.  If you are looking at large objects, such as the moon, you can find it in the sky.  However, if you are trying to find small objects, such as a planet or star, the viewfinder is useless.  So far, I've had 4 people try to align it and used Youtube videos and other internet information.  I cannot recommend this for anyone, even a child.
